‘Ford has spent his entire playing career with the Seattle Seahawks after being signed as an undrafted free agent out of the University of Texas in 2018. Over the course of his five seasons in the NFL, Ford has played in 76 games, starting 64 of them, making 181 combined tackles, 28 tackles for loss, 27 quarterback hits, 7.5 sacks and one forced fumble.’

‘I’m still concerned about the depth chart at wide receiver once you get past Stefon Diggs, but they did add a weapon that should help the Bills offense. That is what I’m holding on to regarding the selection of tight end Dalton Kincaid.’

‘The 33-year-old has played 10 seasons in the NFL, making 75 starts in 135 career games and earning one Pro Bowl nod in 2015 with the Oakland Raiders. He rushed for more than 1,000 yards that season.’

‘This past season in nine games played, Shorter finished with 29 catches for 577 yards and two touchdowns. Some his best games this past year with the Gators included a Week 4 loss to the Tennessee Volunteers, where he caught seven passes for 155 yards. In his final game of the 2022 season, Shorter caught eight passes for 106 yards against Vanderbilt.’

‘In his four years at Mississippi Broeker did not miss one game, appearing in 48 games for the Rebels starting 23 games at left tackle, and 13 at left guard. In his senior season he earned first team all SEC along with second team All-American. Broeker won the Kent Hull Trophy for the best offensive linemen in the state of Mississippi.’

‘As a redshirt Sophomore, Austin played and started 12 games for the Beavers in 2022. In his final season Austin had two interceptions to go along with 42 solo tackles, one sack, a fumble recovery, and 10 pass breakups. He was an All-Pac-12 honorable mention, as well as Pac-12 Defensive player of the Week (Oct. 24).’

‘Even since last season ended in a stunning 27-10 AFC Divisional Playoff loss at home to the Cincinnati Bengals, General manager Brandon Beane and head coach Sean McDermott has talked multiple times about helping to protect quarterback Josh Allen and finding ways to make it easier on him in 2023.’

‘Torrence falls to the Bills in the latter half of the second round with the 59th overall selection in the draft. This after Torrence was projected by many to go off the board as a first-round selection.’

‘The 21-year-old linebacker was a huge piece of a Green Wave defense that helped turn the program around as a senior, picking up 132 total tackles, 8.5 tackles for loss, three sacks, seven passes defended, two interceptions and two forced fumbles. Tulane went from a 2-10 program to a 12-2 record in 2022, as well as a win in the Cotton Bowl over USC.’

‘The 6-foot-5, 330-pound, Greensburg, Louisiana native did not allow a single sack in college football, playing three years at Louisiana before transferring to Florida and starting 11 games in 2022 for the Gators. That’s even more impressive considering he faced some of the nation’s top defensive linemen while playing for the Gators in the SEC.’

‘Plenty of fans are wondering why the team doubled-up on the same position and size of player in the same round two years in a row.’

‘”Trading up to get me just goes to show that they wanted me that much more, so definitely just gonna go in, be the best rookie I can and do whatever I can help the team,” said Kincaid shortly after being drafted by the Bills in a Zoom call.’

‘Kincaid started his collegiate career playing in the FCS with the University of San Diego, recording 68 receptions for 1,209 receiving yards and 19 touchdowns. In his second season with the Toreros in 2019, Kincaid led the entire FCS in average yards per-catch.’

‘”If Dalton was not there, we were going to trade back,” Beane said. “But we had a good feeling that Dallas was going to take him.”‘

‘”If there’s a guy sitting there at 27 that you think is the guy that can be 5-to-10-year starter, a Day 1 starter on the offensive line, then yeah, I’m fine with taking him,” said Wood with Sal Capaccio and Joe DiBiase.’
