‘The start of Bills’ Mandatory Minicamp comes on June 11th and rolls along through June 13th.’

‘From Day 1, Josh Allen will be the unquestioned starter and get every rep as QB1. He’s not fighting with anyone else for the job. He’s not looking over his shoulder if he throws an interception in camp. What he is going to do is get at least double, and maybe even close to triple, the number of reps he got last offseason. On top of that, all of those reps will be with the first-team offense, as opposed to the second- and third-team, where he was for a majority of last summer and training camp.’

‘The Bills sit at ninth overall in the 2019 NFL Draft, which could be in range for a player like Metcalf to fall to them in the first round.’

‘Perry has mainly played special teams and will likely do the same if he makes the Bills’ roster out of training camp. In 48 career games, he has just eight carries.’

‘Last year, Ivory signed a two-year deal with the Bills and served as the backup to Lesean McCoy, a role that will presumably be filled by the recently-signed Frank Gore this season.’

‘With Ivory on the roster, the Bills had the three oldest running backs in the NFL all in their backfield. Gore, who will turn 36 in May, and McCoy, who will be 31 in July, remain the two oldest backs in the NFL. They’re currently joined by 28-year-old Marcus Murphy and Keith Ford, who turns 25 next month. So, the Bills may still want to address the running back position in the draft to add more youth and competition before heading to training camp.’

‘You can hear Rosenhaus say that he talked to the Bills, but wouldn’t even give them a number they’d be looking for on a contract. For a player that was looking to become the highest paid receiver in NFL history, you’d think they’d at least want to hear the Bills out.’

‘Well we’ve employed CAA ICON and Populous. They’re doing a market study. It will be done this summer. It’s pretty extensive the work they’re doing, and so I can’t comment on what their results are because I don’t know. We have dribs and drabs of what they’ve seen so far but you know we’re open to any option and we’ll see what the market study says.’

‘”You feel better that we answered some holes, but my nature is that I don’t rest easy. I’m still looking for ways for us to add more competition, however it be. This is a great spot for trades to happen; now, I’m not saying there’s anything happening here, because there’s not. If a GM approached us now with an offer for a player that we think is an upgrade or will add competition, we would still look to make that move. Overall, I feel better but I still think we have a ways to go.”‘
