The Patriots blitzed Allen on the next two plays and forced Allen into a desperate throw to Beasley on fourth down that was batted away, ending the game.’

‘I was angry because I’m so tired of losing to Tom Brady and Bill Belichick. I’m tired of the Patriots winning (this is their 11th straight AFC East title), and I’m tired of Boston fans seeing the Patriots win all the time. I really felt this was one of the Bills’ best chances ever to beat Brady in Foxboro, and it turned out to be woulda, coulda, shoulda.’

‘The Bills gave up 143 yards on the ground. Sony Michel ran for 96 yards and 4.6 per-carry. The Patriots ran for 81 yards in the first half alone. Far too much.’

‘Just stay ready. They always preach to me to just stay ready. And that’s what it is. I prepare every day as if I’m playing on Sunday, and that’s what it’s about, just how I prepare and just staying ready. Anything can happen in this game of football. ‘When these two teams played back in week four, the Patriots won 16-10, and there’s a strong case to be made they wouldn’t have won the game had Bills QB Josh Allen taken better care of the football.’

‘“You have to be very disciplined. They can beat you, Brady or just the entire offense can beat you in a lot of ways because they’ve been together for so long and they can just spin the dial. If it’s not working, they can go to something else. They’re probably unlike any other team around the NFL because they’ve been together for so long. The volume, the width of their playbook, if you will, is so wide, and if it’s working you better stop it because if not, they will continue with it. So they’ve just got a good scheme, they’ve got good players, and just multiple ways to beat you.”’

‘What seemed like a rare bad performance by the Patriots offense in Buffalo earlier this season has now become one of many bad showings from the unit. New England’s offense has scored 22 points or less in five of the last six games.’

‘However, it must go a long way with his players that head coach Sean McDermott puts his money where his mouth is when it comes to the trust he has in them. Old or young.’

‘”Guys have their routines, hot tubs, massages, cold tubs. Coach later in the week & late in the year does a good job helping us stay healthy. Sean brought in a culture where he’s like ‘hey get your rehab, get in the training room’. How healthy we are starts with McDermott. As a professional you should be in the training room, getting your body right for the next game. It shouldn’t be looked at as ‘oh you’re soft’.”‘

‘The biggest thank you of all goes to the Bills for not making us sweat out the next game against the New England Patriots in Foxboro, or even worse the final game of the season against the New York Jets. Clinching a playoff spot with two games to go was not something I anticipated back in the summer.’
