‘”There’s been so much wrapped around the death, the murder of George Floyd that has impacted our country, and just observing and witnessing, what I think is the transformation that is going on. Just to see so many people galvanized around this topic, which we’ve all known has existed, at least most of us are aware that it has existed for so long. To see how people that have been in the majority or now seem to be coming around as far as recognizing or identifying the fact that there is racism there and it’s something that needs to be dealt with. Just seeing the people that have come out and spoke out against racism and having the desire to do something to see change; that’s what has impressed me, and I’m hoping that there will be action going forward, where people like yourself and myself will use our pedestal to help bridge the gap between races because we’re in the public eye and we have the chance to influence people. A lot of people that have the stature to speak up, do it, and hopefully that will create change in our country.”‘

Bills sign Zack Moss to his rookie deal
‘Moss will likely serve is a 1-2 punch role along side Devin Singletary in the Bills backfield. Both players were third round picks, and both players are 22-years-old.’
Is Dawson Knox the Bills long-term answer at TE?
‘For every jaw-dropping catch down the field Knox made, there was a brutal drop on passes that were “gimmes” if you will. According to Fox Sports, Knox had the third most drops in the league with 10. Now keep in mind drop statistics vary from platform to platform, but the point remains the same. The drops can’t continue if Knox is going to be a featured weapon on offense moving forward.’
One big question for every Bills offensive position
‘We saw Allen’s decision-making and turnovers rear their ugly head again in the team’s playoff loss at the Houston Texans, so he’s far from where he needs to be. But the turnaround he had after week five was pretty remarkable. Now, with what’s expected to be an even more aggressive offense with the addition of Stefon Diggs, Allen will have to continue on that path and keep that consistency over a full season for him, and the Bills, to take the next step.’
Allen: Chemistry with Diggs “won’t take much time” once real practices start
‘“He loves to get on the field and run routes and talk to the guys and explain how he’s running routes and what works for him to these young cats,” the Bills quarterback told the media Thursday on a conference call via Zoom. Allen, Diggs, and several other offensive players, including all four quarterbacks currently on the roster, convened in Miami for several players-only workout sessions while the league hasn’t allowed players at facilities yet due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Allen raved about his newest weapon, who the team acquired in a trade this offseason. “It was very, very awesome to see just the amount of detail that he puts into his craft, how communicative he was, how wiling he was to learn.”’
Beasley: I’ve ‘looked the other way’ for too long
‘”This is too important of a time in our country to just sit by and scroll through everything that is happening before us. Every single person matters. No role is too small. Nothing you do is too little. Every bit is going to matter. Just please do something…#BlackLivesMatter.”‘
Daboll: Fromm has to earn back the trust of his teammates
‘“I think the foundation of a good organization is building relationships. And relationships is a people business. Sure, there’s Xs and Os and schemes and challenges along the way and dealing with adversity, but you deal with adversity, through building relationships, genuine relationships, loving relationships. My guys know that I got their back, and I know they got mine. But that’s not something you just come into a room and that happens. You have to develop that over time and sometimes conversations happen that leads you to become closer. But I think transparency is important. I think making sure that they know you care about them as people.”’
Bills coaches can begin returning to facility on Friday
‘According to a memo sent to all 32 NFL teams on Thursday, all coaches can begin returning to team facitlties beginning tomorrow, Friday, June 5.’
Bills’ Jake Fromm apologizes for racist remark
‘The phrase “elite whites” is not sitting well with many people, especially after the last week of protesting police violence of the African-American community across the country. What appears to be Fromm’s sister, then messaged @Ashleymp20, asking her not to make the conversation public. Now that the conversation is public, Jake Fromm has come forward to acknowledge the messages are real and offer an apology.’
Frazier emphasizes education and communication in response to Fromm’s texts
‘“We don’t want to be a team that becomes fractured over what’s going on in the world today and it could easily happen, where your locker room is split because of comments or things that are happening around the world,” Frazier said. “So we really emphasize educating ourselves, whether you’re in the majority or the minority, as well as making sure those lines of communication are open. And if someone has a concern, bring it up, let’s talk about it. We’re supposed to be in this as one. And if we can’t talk about issues without feeling like ‘I feel uncomfortable doing it,’ well, let’s take that out of it. Let’s do what we think is the right thing to do to help us be a team and be unified, because this is something that we need to be unified around. We may have some difference of opinion in some areas, but this is one area where we need to be unified as a group, and make sure that we’re all fighting the same fight. And I think our guys get that message and time will tell.”’
McDermott “disappointed, disgusted, and ashamed” over George Floyd’s murder
‘With the current pandemic situation, McDermott has not been able to meet Stefon Diggs yet in person, but spoke about getting to know his new wide receiver via their virtual program, saying “I’ve really enjoyed it. We start with a clean slate and I’ve enjoyed getting to know Stefon and getting to know a little bit about his background and a little bit about his family. I know he’s a big workout guy and I think just like any good relationship, it has to start with building that trust, and that trust begins with respect, and mutual respect for one another, and I’ve enjoyed the fact that he’s been communicating with us and with me and been in the meetings and he’s done a good job so far.”’
Bills to stay in Orchard Park for 2020 training camp
‘ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler says the league expecting camps to be held in full, but unsure of dates, and that the preseason schedule could be shortened.’
Josh Norman: Racism at One of Its Highest Points ‘Since Jim Crow’
‘“We need to find a way where we’re going to come together and sew that band-aid up,” Norman said. “No longer let it be a band-aid, no longer let it be a wound that’s there… we need a doctor to come through and [sew] that thing up, or else the next generation is going to carry it on.”’
Wilson: ‘I’m tired. I’m frustrated. When does it stop?’
‘“People are hurting right now. You can see that during the protests throughout the day. They definitely want to honor the memory of all those fallen. But, we’re definitely not going to accomplish the ultimate goal by rioting and looting and tearing up our communities. While I don’t condone the riots and the looting, I understand people’s pain and the trauma. Unfortunately, the looting and the riots are just a symptom of the bigger problem. People are just tired of the injustices that have been consistently and continuously experienced by people of color in this country. I think people are tired and fed up.”’
Stefon Diggs is catching passes from Josh Allen at player-run practices
‘Photographer Joe Croom has been documenting several of the players-only practice sessions and via Matt Parrino of NYupstate, explained on the Buffalo Fanatics Instagram Live Show this weekend that it was his understanding that Allen put the workouts together, but that Webb seems to be the one in charge of what he called “extremely strict” practices.’
