The Bills did re-sign Jackson in the offseason, but ended up releasing him before the team even went to training camp.’

If you’ve offered $15,000 to one and maybe you’re talking $12,000 to the other, but you don’t want them both. Once you get one in the boat you’ve got to back out on the other. It’s a moving target. I think that will be an obstacle for all teams as we work through it remotely.”’

I know his DNA very well and he thinks he’s being doubted right now, so I think he would have to really change his frame of mind, I would assume. Again, this is all without talking to him, but I think he deserves a chance to go start and that’s not really the opportunity that we would have. So again, you never say never if things change in his landscape, but I hope that he’ll get a chance to, if not start, compete to start.”’

GM Brandon Beane will no doubt be monitoring how the first round goes and could always try to swing a deal to get back into it, but after he dealt the 22nd overall selection to the Minnesota Vikings for wide receiver Stefon Diggs, the Bills aren’t scheduled to be on the clock now until pick No. 54 overall, which will come in the second round, on the second night.”‘

Devin Singletary showed no reason he can’t be trusted as the starting RB moving forward. Even after taking on the workhorse role down the stretch, he still remained one of the most efficient backs in the league as a rookie.’
