Bills activate Josh Norman from Reserve/COVID-19 list

‘The addition of Norman back to the roster means the Bills now have 52 of the maximum 53 roster spots accounted for. Cornerback Cam Lewis and linebacker Tyrel Dodson are both eligible to come off of Injured Reserve list this week, while linebacker Matt Milano is eligible to be activated from I.R. next week.’

Bills get 4:30 p.m. Saturday slot versus Denver in Week 15

‘The Bills get picked for a late-season Saturday game for the second year in a row. Last year, the Bills were slotted to play their Week 16 matchup with the Patriots in Foxboro on a Saturday, also in the 4:30 p.m. time slot.’

Bills head coach Sean McDermott holds high praise for Justin Herbert

‘The 22-year-old has thrown 22 touchdowns to six interceptions, and averages 300 yards per-game. He throws confidently and spreads the ball around the field. He’s doing this with no NFL warmup — in fact, he found out he was making his debut just seconds before the Chargers’ Week 2 kickoff against the Kansas City Chiefs — and doing it quite well against some really strong defenses.’

Tommy Sweeney diagnosed with myocarditis

‘Sweeney has been on the Physically Unable to Perform list and hasn’t played this season. He was placed on the Reserve/COVID-19 list back on Oct. 24, along tight ends Lee Smith and Nate Becker, due to contact tracing protocols, after fellow tight end Dawson Knox had tested positive. He was removed from the list on Nov. 11.’

Opinion: Bills getting closer to winning first AFC East title in 25 years

‘The Academy Award for Best Picture that year was Forrest Gump. Some songs atop the music charts included “Gangsta’s Paradise” by Coolio, “Waterfalls” and “Creep” by TLC. On the rock side, it was “Lightning Crashes” by Live, Pearl Jam’s “Better Man”, and Green Day’s “When I Come Around”.’

Opinion: What do the Bills need to do better?

‘Devin Singletary does not look like the running back we saw in 2019. He is averaging just 4.1 yards per-carry, down a full yard from last season. Singletary ranks 31st in the NFL, and rookie Zack Moss is behind him averaging just 3.8 yards per-carry. Singletary has been under four yards per-carry in seven of his 10 games, and Moss has been sub-4.0 in four of his seven games.’

Bills roster, schedule, cap space: everything you need to know

‘As of Sunday morning, the Bills have 51 players on their active roster. They’re allowed 53 throughout the week. Cornerback Josh Norman is on the Reserve/Covid-19 list, which means he doesn’t count against the active roster. However, one of the open spots is likely going to go to him as soon as he clears all protocols, which could be at any time. The team has one more open roster spot.’

Bills activate three from Reserve/COVID-19 list

‘The Bills remain in town this week as they take their bye week. The team will return to work at One Bills Drive on Monday as they prepare to face the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday, Nov. 29 in Orchard Park.’

Cole Beasley ranks atop NFL in impressive advanced statistic

‘But with the way he’s producing in his age-31 season in Buffalo, his ninth as an NFL receiver and second as a member of the Bills, he’s sure playing like a guy who should be ranked among the very elite tier. His traditional stats don’t exactly reveal that to be the case — he ranks a very solid 13th in receptions, 17th in yards and he has just three touchdowns. But looking at some of the NFL’s more advanced stats might surprise you.’

Loss to Cards stings, but Bills still have everything they want in front of them

‘I didn’t really feel like that in this one as the game was unfolding. I’ve actually been asking myself, “who was the better team in that game?” Did the Bills outplay the Cardinals? In some ways. They also got outplayed in other ways. This was back-and-forth. Either team’s game. One just made one more play. And a miraculous one.’

Tyler Bass one of two kickers to show off big legs with field goal feats in Week 10

‘Though he struggled to start his first season in the pros, entering Week 10 with 72.7% accuracy, he shook off any signs of inconsistency as he drilled not one, not two, but three 50-yard field goals against the Arizona Cardinals… all in one quarter of action. Bass became the first kicker in franchise history to covert three kicks of 50-plus yards in one game, and also only the second kicker in NFL history to make three field goals of 54-plus yards in one game.’

Opinion: Sometimes you just get beat

‘We all know what happened after that, and there’s plenty to digest there. Should the Bills have called a timeout before the Hail Mary play? Did they make it too easy for the Cardinals receivers to run freely off the line of scrimmage? Should they have sent one more pass rusher to try and take away Kyler Murray’s time and space?’

Opinion: R-E-L-A-X, Bills fans

‘As opposed to the previous week against the Seattle Seahawks in Orchard Park, the Bills did not play a great game. The offense went into a deep freeze for much of the second half. The Bills run game, at least rushers not named Josh Allen, produced next to nothing. There were some ill-timed and ill-advised penalties. The defense was shredded by the Cardinals’ run game and the punter had a 12-yard punt, giving Arizona a drive start at the Bills’ 30-yard line.’

Bills fall to Cardinals on Hopkins’ last-second TD

‘The Buffalo defense did a good job limiting Arizona’s high-powered offense in the first half, holding them to three field goals despite the Cardinals getting inside the Bills’ 25-yard line on each of those drives. However, it was a totally different story in the second half, as a 17-point third quarter that featured a pair of rushing scores from Murray, pushed the Cardinals ahead going into the final frame.’

Opinion: Three observations: Another poor third quarter hurts Bills in loss

‘There is a lot Buffalo can take away from this game, positive and negative. The Bills played a great first half and did a good job controlling Murray and limiting the high-powered Arizona offense. But, another sluggish third quarter, a trend for Buffalo this season, put the Bills in a hole heading into the fourth, and Stefon Diggs’ 21-yard go-ahead touchdown catch with 34 seconds to go wasn’t enough to seal the victory.’
