The 25-year-old cornerback was set to enter the final year of his rookie deal in 2020. His extension will officially kick in following this upcoming season.’

He was originally an undrafted free agent who was released as part of final cuts in 2018, but then signed to the team’s practice squad right away. Later that season, he was signed to the active roster. He made the Bills’ 53-man roster right out of camp last season and played 12 games, missing four with an ankle injury. Other than the team’s regular season finale when they rested several defensive players in preparation for the playoffs, he was strictly a special teamer.’
