‘It was not a good day for the defense Sunday, the Bills gave up a season high 44 points along with only forcing one punt from the Rams offense and not getting a sack from quarterback Matthew Stafford.’

‘On Sunday, Josh Allen became the first NFL quarterback in 70 years to have as many as three touchdown passes and three rushing touchdowns in the same game. Yet, the Bills still lost.’

‘No NFL team should lose a game in which they score 42 points. But the Bills did. Sean McDermott and defensive coordinator Bobby Babich were out-coached on that side of the ball by Sean McVay and his staff. They had no answers for the Rams multiple formations and motion.’

‘The Rams have one of the best wide receiver duos in the league in Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua. Both have totaled over 500 yards passing this season. Together, they are able to work all areas of the field and levels of the defense. The Bills will need to limit their production, and not let one of them have a big day, forcing others in the Los Angeles receiving game to beat them.’

‘The Bills have until Saturday at 4 p.m. ET to put Carter on the active roster in order for him to play on Sunday. If they do that, they’ll also have to make a corresponding roster move to make room on the 53-man active roster.’

‘Buffalo Bills head coach Sean McDermott joined Sal Capaccio on the “Extra Point Show” for his weekly appearance on Friday morning. He did not rule any players out for Sunday’s game against the Rams and emphasized that all players, including Keon Coleman and Taylor Rapp who have been in a limited role in non-contact jerseys, will be practicing in some form on Friday afternoon.’

‘This season, Sean McVay’s team opened the year 1-4. They’ve since won five of their last seven games, but are just 10th in the NFC, a game-and-a-half out of the final Wild Card spot in the NFC.’

‘Every player on team team’s roster practiced in some capacity, with several names being listed as limited participants.’

‘A total of five players were not listed as full participants, which included tight ends Dalton Kincaid (knee) and Quintin Morris(shoulder/groin), wide receivers Keon Coleman (wrist) and wide receiver Curtis Samuel (foot), and safety Taylor Rapp (neck/shoulder) were all listed as limited participants.’

‘For the second time this season and the 14th time in his NFL career, Allen has been named the AFC Offensive Player of the Week. This time following his historic performance this past Sunday night against the San Francisco 49ers at Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park.’

The Bills head coach had an ear to ear smile on his face and you could tell he was thoroughly enjoying the moment and this season.’

‘”Offensively to be able to run that football the way we did when they knew we were going to run it because of the conditions in particular. McDermott said following the 35-10 win on Sunday. “I thought James’s run was at the early part of the second quarter, I think was huge in terms of opening it up, really, and being able to score on that was huge.”‘

‘”The only thing that this does is guarantees a spot in the playoffs.” Allen said postgame. “Like I said, still a lot to learn from and grow from throughout the season, we got to play five more games, and next week we’re going across the country, so we got to be ready for that.”‘
