‘ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports it’s a high ankle sprain, and the team is hopeful for his return after he misses the required three games on Injured Reserve.’

‘It’s clear that when Brown’s not on the field, or noticeably not healthy, the offense is not nearly as efficient.’

‘”He had one of those seasons that was on the tougher end eith the shoulder [injury], and then the knee and the ankle here,” McDermott said with Howard Simon and Jeremy White on WGR. “We’re looking forward to getting him back healthy and ready to go for the offseason.”‘

‘For the Chargers, they have ruled out starting defensive end Melvin Ingram III, starting cornerback Casey Hayward, Jr., and backup defensive end Uchenna Nwosu, with a few other key players still being evaluated.’

‘The addition of Norman back to the roster means the Bills now have 52 of the maximum 53 roster spots accounted for. Cornerback Cam Lewis and linebacker Tyrel Dodson are both eligible to come off of Injured Reserve list this week, while linebacker Matt Milano is eligible to be activated from I.R. next week.’

‘The Bills get picked for a late-season Saturday game for the second year in a row. Last year, the Bills were slotted to play their Week 16 matchup with the Patriots in Foxboro on a Saturday, also in the 4:30 p.m. time slot.’

‘The 22-year-old has thrown 22 touchdowns to six interceptions, and averages 300 yards per-game. He throws confidently and spreads the ball around the field. He’s doing this with no NFL warmup — in fact, he found out he was making his debut just seconds before the Chargers’ Week 2 kickoff against the Kansas City Chiefs — and doing it quite well against some really strong defenses.’

‘Sweeney has been on the Physically Unable to Perform list and hasn’t played this season. He was placed on the Reserve/COVID-19 list back on Oct. 24, along tight ends Lee Smith and Nate Becker, due to contact tracing protocols, after fellow tight end Dawson Knox had tested positive. He was removed from the list on Nov. 11.’

‘The Academy Award for Best Picture that year was Forrest Gump. Some songs atop the music charts included “Gangsta’s Paradise” by Coolio, “Waterfalls” and “Creep” by TLC. On the rock side, it was “Lightning Crashes” by Live, Pearl Jam’s “Better Man”, and Green Day’s “When I Come Around”.’

‘Devin Singletary does not look like the running back we saw in 2019. He is averaging just 4.1 yards per-carry, down a full yard from last season. Singletary ranks 31st in the NFL, and rookie Zack Moss is behind him averaging just 3.8 yards per-carry. Singletary has been under four yards per-carry in seven of his 10 games, and Moss has been sub-4.0 in four of his seven games.’

‘As of Sunday morning, the Bills have 51 players on their active roster. They’re allowed 53 throughout the week. Cornerback Josh Norman is on the Reserve/Covid-19 list, which means he doesn’t count against the active roster. However, one of the open spots is likely going to go to him as soon as he clears all protocols, which could be at any time. The team has one more open roster spot.’

‘The Bills remain in town this week as they take their bye week. The team will return to work at One Bills Drive on Monday as they prepare to face the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday, Nov. 29 in Orchard Park.’

‘But with the way he’s producing in his age-31 season in Buffalo, his ninth as an NFL receiver and second as a member of the Bills, he’s sure playing like a guy who should be ranked among the very elite tier. His traditional stats don’t exactly reveal that to be the case — he ranks a very solid 13th in receptions, 17th in yards and he has just three touchdowns. But looking at some of the NFL’s more advanced stats might surprise you.’

‘I didn’t really feel like that in this one as the game was unfolding. I’ve actually been asking myself, “who was the better team in that game?” Did the Bills outplay the Cardinals? In some ways. They also got outplayed in other ways. This was back-and-forth. Either team’s game. One just made one more play. And a miraculous one.’
