Although the Isaiah McKenzie injury could mean there is no discussion and Marquez Stevenson makes the roster, it looks like the top-six receivers are set with Jake Kumerow having a strong enough preseason to have earned a place. The question would have been whether or not to go with seven wide receivers. But McKenzie being hurt, Stevenson might have clinched a spot with how he has looked as a receiver and returner. This is one of the two positions where the Bills might go a little longer because of the talent on-hand.’

‘Head coach Sean McDermott said before practice that both McKenzie and cornerback Taron Johnson, who is dealing with a hand injury, are considered anywhere from day-to-day to week-to-week, but that he doesn’t have any long-term concerns about either right now.’

‘According to the letter sent to McKenzie, the 26-year-old was seen on two separate occasions by league personnel visiting Orchard Park on Wednesday not wearing a mask. The first instance came at approximately 2:15 p.m. ET when he walked through the fieldhouse and into the training room. Then at around 4:35 p.m. ET, McKenzie was seen again without a mask for “several minutes” while in a meeting area of the weight room with other players.’

‘In his first two years in Washington, Sims played in 28 games while reeling in 61 receptions for 575 yards and five touchdowns. Sims was also a key contributor in the return game for Washington, totaling 35 kick returns that averaged 24.6 yards per-return and a touchdown, while also returning 30 total punts for 186 yards.’
