‘”I don’t want to go into the particulars of where we are in negotiations in something like that, but I will note for the record at no time has the team representatives said ‘If you do not build this and pay for it, we are moving.’,” Poloncarz said during a press briefing on Wednesday. “They have not said that. I want the public to understand there has been no gun put to the head of Erie County and New York State stating ‘If you do not do this, we are moving’. I want people to understand negotiations are a long process.”‘

‘Obada stood out specifically on Tuesday. In addition to the deflected pass that caused an incompletion, he also had one play that may have resulted in a sack, and another that forced Allen to step up and get rid of the ball much quicker than he wanted.’

‘”Hopefully we can get something done this year,” Beane said. “Josh [Allen] knows him and I have had great conversations this spring, and summer, about it. He’ll play it out this year even if we can’t get something done. I promised him if we can’t get [an extension] done that we’ll pick it up as soon as we get to next offseason and try again.”‘

‘Matt Breida has really shown off his speed and quickness through the first four days. He works well in tight spaces, but also gets to where he’s going in a hurry. He could wind up being more of a factor in the offense than many anticipated when they signed him as a free agent in March.’

‘The Bills took Moss in the third round of the 2020 draft. In his rookie season he ran for 481 yards and four touchdowns averaging 4.3 yards per carry. Moss was also a pretty good weapon in the passing game picking up another touchdown there. He said that was all fine and good, but he’s been focusing at getting better, “I did a lot of good things last year and I did a lot of things I wasn’t so happy about last year, so I’m taking all those things and mashing them together and overall getting better.”’

‘While quarterback Josh Allen has been exceptional through the first three practices, he was a bit more inconsistent on Saturday and even had a couple of passes that probably should have been picked off. However, he still made some terrific throws, including one to tight end Dawson Knox in the back of the endzone for a touchdown just over multiple defenders. Knox did a great job to climb the ladder, grab it, and tap both feet inbounds.’

‘“We’ve got a great team here. The practices have been amazing,” Sanders said Thursday following practice in Orchard Park. “I mean, I’m playing with ‘Stef’ [Stefon Diggs] and Josh [Allen] and ‘Bease’ [Cole Beasley]. I mean, Josh made a throw that I haven’t seen. It was a post ball to Cole Beasley, I mean, it was crazy, mouth-dropping. I’ve been in the league 12 years; so I’m excited about what they’ve created out here.”‘

‘About midway through the session outside the ADPRO Sports Training Center, during one of the 11-on-11 team portions of practice, defensive tackle Ed Oliver and rookie offensive tackle Spencer Brown got locked up after a play. Punches were thrown, and Oliver ripped Brown’s helmet off. Then the 6-foot-8, 311-pound Brown dove on top of the 6-foot-1, 287-pound Oliver.’
