Bills sign center Mitch Morse a two-year contract extension

‘Garafolo also reports the extension for Morse is worth $19.5 million, with $12 million guaranteed. This would increase the 29-year-old’s pay from $8.5 million to $11.25 million per-year.’

Bills sign guard Rodger Saffold

‘Saffold entered the league as a second round pick by the Rams in the 2010 NFL Draft out of Indiana University. He’s played in 160 games, starting 157 of them. He’s been reliable and available, missing only five games in the past six seasons, playing in 92 of a possible 97 over that time.’

Report: Bills to sign defensive tackle DaQuan Jones

‘Jones, who is originally from Johnson City, New York just outside Binghamton, played seven seasons for the Tennessee Titans before signing as a free agent with the Panthers prior to last season.’

Report: Bills signing defensive tackle Tim Settle to two-year deal

‘Settle is a one-technique tackle, which would make him a depth piece either behind Star Lotulelei or replacing Harrison Phillips, who is scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent on Wednesday.’

Report: Harrison Phillips to sign with Vikings

‘With Phillips departing Buffalo, that leaves Star Lotulelei and Ed Oliver as the team’s top-two defensive tackles heading into the 2022 season.’

Bills release offensive lineman Daryl Williams

‘Williams joined the Bills for the 2020 and started every single game for the team in his two years with Buffalo. Williams ended up winning the starting job at right tackle for the 2020 season, but struggled at the start of the 2021 season, eventually being moved inside to right guard.’

Mitchell Trubisky reportedly signing with Steelers

‘The 27-year-old was drafted by the Bears with the second overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft. Over the course of his career, Trubisky has gone 29-21, with all of those starts in Chicago.’

Bills re-sign Isaiah McKenzie to two-year deal

‘The 26-year-old McKenzie went into the year as the team’s primary kick and punt returner, but was used sparingly on offense. That was a head-scratcher for a lot of fans and media, considering the versatility he can bring.’

Bills re-sign wide receiver Jake Kumerow to one-year deal

‘Kumerow has been a big special teams contributor for the Bills in both of the last two seasons. The 30-year-old also appeared in a career high 15 games for the Bills this past season.’

Opinion: Why the Bills should consider trading Tremaine Edmunds

‘When I consider all of the options for the Bills and Edmunds moving forward, there are definitely several options for the Bills, which is always a good thing. They aren’t pigeon-holed. They aren’t in a bad spot. They are not without leverage. But this is coming to a head quicker than we all probably realize.’

Bills release guard Jon Feliciano

‘Feliciano was expected to depart the Bills last offseason for more money elsewhere, but the two sides agreed to a deal to keep him in Buffalo.’

Bills clear cap space by releasing linebacker A.J. Klein

‘Klein’s biggest impact on the Bills came in the middle of the 2020 season when he rattled off five sacks in a five-game stretch. He even earned a nod as the AFC Defensive Player of the Week for a Week 12 game against the Los Angeles Chargers.’

Listen: Beane: We have to get really creative with current salary cap situation

‘Beane mentioned on Monday the Bills are a little more than $6 million over the cap, and will need to be under the salary cap by March 16 at 4 p.m. EST.’

Opinion: Bills making a big splash move?

‘To me this comes down to three positions: wide receiver, tight end and edge defender. I’d like to see the move come at wide receiver but I don’t think the Bills would be willing to hand out a second big contract at that position. Stefon Diggs is way under market value when you look at the two years left on his contract. His average annual salary is $14.4 million. What would be market value for Diggs? Kansas City’s Tyreek Hill just got an extension that is worth an average of $21 million a year.’

Bills to return to St. John Fisher for training camp in 2022

‘A big factor that also led to the Bills returning to St. John Fisher in 2022 is the fact that fans will be able to attend practices.’
