‘Josh Allen and company played the football equivalent of a perfect game and it was one of the greatest single game experiences a Bills fan will ever have.’

‘Since Allen arrived in Buffalo, there have been plenty of superlatives thrown around to describe his performances. His growth as a passer, coupled with his ridiculous running ability, have made him a superstar in a city that may have thought their day would never come again.’

‘The Bills were as prepared as they’ve ever been in Sean McDermott’s five year tenure as head coach, and that’s saying something. They had great game plans on both sides of the ball and were ready to play right away from the opening kick. McDermott and his staff put the team in a great position to win and pushed all the right buttons during the game to do it with authority.’

‘According to ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter, both Bills offensive coordinator Brian Daboll and defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier are scheduled to interview with both the Miami Dolphins and Chicago Bears on Sunday for the open head coaching positions. In addition, Schefter is reporting that Bills assistant general manager Joe Schoen is expected to interview with the Bears for their opening at general manager.’

‘Safety Kyle Dugger, a very important player in their three-safety scheme, did not play last week and is dealing with a hand injury. The Patriots have elevated two defensive backs from their practice squad.’

‘This is Poyer’s first time he has been honored as an All-Pro by The Associated Press. He is the first Bills safety to be named an AP First-Team All-Pro since Henry Jones back in 1992.’

‘“The balance on this team, what they provide, the dynamic offense – Josh Allen in particular – and defensively,” Eagle said with Howard Simon and Jeremy White on WGR. “While the one area of defense was exposed in the first meeting between these two teams [on Dec. 6], they make up for it in a lot of really strong areas defensively. To be No. 1 in the league in total defense, No. 1 in the league in scoring defense, those things don’t happen by accident. ‘Daboll has been the Bills’ offensive coordinator since 2018. He’s the only offensive coordinator quarterback Josh Allen has had since entering the NFL that same season.’

‘It’s a simple truth. The grueling schedule, working dusk-to-dawn, seven days a week, draft prep, OTAs, minicamp, training camp, 17 regular season games, playoffs, it’s all just too much for a 70-year-old man.’

‘We should have another game where not having Tre White shouldn’t be a big problem. Defending the Patriots group of wide receivers is better than trying to stop Keenan Allen and Mike Williams. Rookie quarterback Mac Jones has struggled down the stretch as the Patriots have lost three of their last four games. Jones has had some of his worst showings of the season in defeats at the hands of Indianapolis, the Bills and Miami. He has completed just 56% of his passes and thrown for just three touchdowns while getting picked off five times.’

‘The Bills closed the first quarter doing something they hadn’t done since 2016; blocking a punt. Defensive back Cam Lewis blocked Jets punter Braden Mann’s punt to end the first quarter.’
