‘By Wednesday, coach Sean McDermott — is he aging before our eyes or is it just me? — will announce that for the second time in less than a year he’ll be reversing his decision to start Peterman and that the Josh Allen Era is officially underway.’

The Bills are in their 59th year of existence, and that’s where the 47-3 defeat to the Ravens on Sunday ranked in team history. It was as awful a performance as the score would indicate, and what was so disgraceful is that all three phases – offense, defense and special teams – played at an embarrassingly poor level. If Bills fans had a ray of hope that this team could repeat its somewhat miraculous advancement to the playoffs from last year, this should just about shatter that illusion. There was nothing positive to take from this debacle.’
