‘The Bills will try to rush off the edge with their linemen, players like Jerry Hughes, Shaq Lawson and Trent Murphy, plus a possible first-round pick. Thus, what the Bills need is a more traditional 4-3 outside linebacker who can do a little of everything: rush the passer as a blitzer, set the edge against the run, and drop into coverage.’

‘Waterloo native Tom Coughlin, who is now Jacksonville’s executive vice president of football operations, released a statement after the Jags’ season-ending loss to Houston last season, saying he was “disappointed in the behavior today from T.J.. Yeldon and Leonard Fournette. They were disrespectful, selfish and their behavior was unbecoming that of a professional football player.”‘

‘It’s clear he’ll get a good player at No. 9, but that player being an offensive lineman smacks of a smokescreen. The Bills may indeed pick one at some point, but it doesn’t seem that using their first pick is the spot to do it, especially with so many top-end defensive linemen expected to be available.’

‘If the Bills decide to pick Hockenson, they’ll have to do it with the No. 9 overall pick, and while some may argue that’s too high, if they truly covet him and think he can become an impact player, they should take him.’

‘The Buffalo Bills have 10 draft picks currently, here is where they’re going to pick next week.’

‘I don’t think the Bills are taking one in the first round, which probably eliminates players such as D.K. Metcalf and A.J. Brown from Mississippi, and Marquise Brown from Oklahoma, but it’s entirely possible they could address receiver in the second round at No. 40.’
