Getting into the playoffs based on the strength of victory tiebreaker doesn’t happen often. Before this year, the last team to qualify for the postseason based on strength of victory was Green Bay. In 2010, the Packers edged the Giants for the final spot in the NFC, and here’s the good news for Buffalo: Green Bay went on to win the Super Bowl that year.’

‘How exactly the Bills are planning to give the Bengals their free wings — hopefully they aren’t going to buy wings and then ship them to Cincinnati, because that sounds awful — is unknown, but it’s a nice gesture. It’s not everyday you break your historic playoff drought thanks to a heroic touchdown by Andy Dalton and Tyler Boyd of all players. So, wings (and more than a few drinks) seems like an appropriate way to celebrate.’

‘Jacksonville has one of the NFL’s best defenses and the Bills will be operating at a serious disadvantage if they do not have their best offensive player on the field for the game. Much of the responsibility for creating points will fall to Tyrod Taylor and the passing game, which has been the weaker part of Buffalo’s offense all season — and even then, McCoy was a huge part of the team’s pass offense.’
