‘Anderson began his career as a sixth-round pick of the Baltimore Ravens back in 2005. He soon moved onto the Cleveland Browns, leading them to a 10-5 record in 15 starts in 2007, the only 10-win season for the Browns in the last 24 years. Anderson’s play fell off over the next few seasons, though, before he carved out a niche as a reliable backup in places like Arizona, Carolina, and finally Buffalo.’

Buffalo Bills unveil Tailgate Village to address ‘knuckleheads’ who throw each other through tables
‘He noted that bus and limo companies frequently give feedback over fan incidents, telling the team they were unsure if they wanted to return to the stadium parking lots.’
Moral Stephens gets rookie minicamp invite from Buffalo
‘The veteran tight end wasn’t selected in this weekend’s NFL Draft, but Florida’s new coaching staff had positive things to say about his NFL potential after taking over in Gainesville.’
2019 NFL Draft: Bills join in on running back run in Round 3 by selecting Devin Singletary
‘I know LeSean McCoy is getting older and they’re gonna throw the football to Singletary. Sean McDermott is getting players to make Josh Allen better. The Bills are moving in the right direction.’
2019 NFL Draft Grades: Bills get an A after Ed Oliver falls into their laps at No. 9 overall
‘Going with a throwback for Oliver despite his presence as a “new-age” one-gapper at the three technique position, charging through the outside shoulder of either guard. That’s, at least, where I’d play him essentially all the time, despite varying suggestions as to all the types of roles he could assume — and thrive in — at the next level. The same was true for Randle. Kind of. With him though, as an undrafted free agent from Texas A&M-Kingsville, coaches initially didn’t know where to play him. The two are almost identically sized, and once Randle was given free rein to attack inside at defensive tackle, he dominated for nearly a decade. Like Randle did, Oliver plays with otherworldly explosiveness and aggression. His quickness and loose hips translate to ridiculously low-center-of-gravity power.’
Bills announce signing of T.J. Yeldon, adding to the most eclectic RB room in the league
‘They were not at the school at the same time, but it is worth noting that Bills offensive coordinator Brian Daboll spent the 2017 season working at Alabama, which is where Yeldon went to college. He presumably knows how to use running backs who come out of that system, so it will be interesting to see how the Bills decide to work Yeldon into the mix in 2019 and beyond.’
Buffalo Bills mock draft 2019: Seven rounds, picks, big board, team needs, multiple options for every selection
‘The Bills are likely looking to add an impact player on their defensive line, and it just so happens they’re in a great spot at No. 9. In fact, if they want to trade back a few picks, maybe with a team looking to get ahead of Denver for a quarterback, there should still be defensive-line talent available in the teens, with help at right tackle or guard as a fall-back option. Here’s how I’d project the Bills’ draft board for their first pick, considering only players I feel have some chance of making it in range:’
Former Cowboys receiver Cole Beasley headed to Buffalo, Bills also reportedly to sign ex-Ravens receiver
‘The reason Beasley didn’t stay in Dallas though, is because the Cowboys just couldn’t meet his asking price. At one point this offseason, Beasley said he was looking to get $20 million in guaranteed money, but as it turns out, he was willing to settle for $14.5 million. Either way, the asking price was too high for the Cowboys.’
Frank Gore reportedly set to join Bills for 15th NFL season on a one-year, $2 million deal
‘Gore might find it difficult to match his success from a season ago, though, considering just how bad of a run-blocking unit the Bills’ offensive line was a year ago. McCoy, typically one of the most productive running backs in football, averaged 3.2 yards per carry this past season after averaging 4.6 yards per carry during his first three seasons with the Bills.’
How Antonio Brown killed Bills trade, and the Steelers’ options with diva WR moving forward
‘The Bills were going to need to work out a new deal for Brown, who apparently also wants a new contract. Who knows if Buffalo was willing to give him that money, but presumably they’d need to have talks with agent Drew Rosenhaus before pulling off a deal, which fits nicely with the theory Ross Tucker threw out on Twitter.’
Antonio Brown trade rumors: Conflicting reports emerge about potential Bills trade as free agency nears
‘Late Thursday night, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported that the Steelers were “closing in on a deal” that would send Brown to the Bills. Rapoport later elaborated by saying “the deal is close to being done.” However, Brown immediately called the report “fake news” on Instagram. Not long after, The Buffalo News’ Vic Carucci refuted Rapoport’s report. Citing an NFL source, Carucci reported that “no deal is imminent” and that another league source called the trade “unlikely.”‘
Jalen Ramsey responds after Bills quarterback Josh Allen asks if he’s still ‘trash’
‘”He never beat a big school. If you look at his games against big schools, it was always hella interceptions, hella turnovers. It’s like: Yo, if you’re this good, why couldn’t you do better? He fits that mold, he’s a big, tall quarterback. Big arm, supposedly. I don’t see it, personally.”‘
Bills’ Kyle Williams to retire after Week 17 game vs. Dolphins, wrapping up 13-year career
‘Williams has seen plenty of players pass through the Bills defensive line; he’s played there for 13 years. He’s played at least 15 games in each of the past three seasons, and at least 14 games in 11 of his 13 seasons. In that span, he’s notched 607 tackles and 48.5 sacks, including 10.5 sacks in 2013.’
Raiders will reportedly sign former Bills quarterback Nathan Peterman to practice squad
‘Still, this is not exactly a banner signing. Peterman is essentially the worst quarterback in the history of the NFL, based on his performance on the field.’
NFL official fined, reinstated after being accused of using derogatory language toward Bills player
‘According to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero and Mike Garafolo, the NFL has reinstated Ellison after placing him on administrative leave and fined him $9,300, the equivalent of one game check. Ellison will return to the field on Sunday, when he’ll join the officiating crew for the Giants-Titans game.’
