‘Let’s take a look at five other times where a game was moved.’

‘The reason the date of the game isn’t changing is because there was no way the league was going to be able to make it work with Buffalo’s schedule. After their Week 10 game against the Browns, the Bills have to turn around and play a Thanksgiving game against the Lions in Detroit. With the Bills playing just four days later, that means moving the Browns game back to Monday or Tuesday was out of the question.’

‘A projected one to two feet are forecasted to hit the area while the heaviest squalls could produce one to two inches of snow per hour, per the National Weather Service. Below-freezing air blowing across Lake Erie is expected to generate snow throughout the weekend.’

‘Minnesota got the ball first to start the extra period, and Kirk Cousins marched the offense down to the Buffalo two-yard line. On first-and-goal, Dalvin Cook rushed right for a loss of three yards. However, the Bills had 12 defenders on the field — which went unnoticed by the officials.’

‘And the root of those turnovers is the juxtaposition of the NFL’s boldest, most forceful quarterback managing a delicate balancing act as a passer.’

‘After the Vikings took a 30-27 lead with just 48 seconds left, it appeared the Bills were done, but nope. Buffalo was able to force overtime after Josh Allen engineered a 69-yard scoring drive in just 39 seconds. The biggest play of the drive came on a 20-yard pass to Gabe Davis that officially put the Bills in field-goal range. The only problem is that Davis didn’t actually make the catch.’

‘It was a historic comeback as Minnesota became the first team to beat Buffalo in Highmark Stadium when trailing by at least 14 points at halftime as the Vikings fell behind 24-10 at the break. The last time the Bills lost a home game with a halftime lead of 14 or more was also in Week 10, but it occurred in the 1968 season at War Memorial Stadium.’

‘Upon seeing the replay, Davis looked like he bobbled the ball and needed the ground’s assistance to secure the catch, meaning it should have been ruled incomplete. Because this play occurred inside of two minutes, it was subject to a booth review, but the officials never stopped the game to look over the catch.’

‘Another sign that Allen is on track to play Sunday is the fact that the Bills are not elevating backup quarterback Matt Barkley from the practice squad, according to NFL media. Besides Allen, veteran Case Keenum is currently the only other quarterback currently on the Bills’ 53-man roster.’

‘”It’s tough to do that right now because he hasn’t practiced,” McDermott said before Friday’s practice when asked about how he’s gauged Allen’s progress. “We are literally in an hour-to-hour situation here, just looking at how he’s going to progress through the day as he goes through his different tests medically making sure he’s able to check the boxes in a progression to where we can see if we can proceed through the course of the day here.”‘

‘There’s no replacing Allen if he misses any stretch of time. He’s been the MVP favorite for most of the season and epitomizes the phrase “one man band” better than anyone else in the league right now. He leads the Bills in rushing and has racked up the fifth-most total yards (passing and rushing) by any player through eight games since the 1970 AFL-NFL merger. He’s accounted for 23 of the Bills’ 25 touchdowns this season, the highest rate (92%) in the NFL.’

‘”I think I tore 75% of the ulnar collateral ligament,” Palmer told the 33rd team. “It wasn’t painful. It didn’t hurt. I kept throwing, I finished that game, it was sore. It wasn’t even to the point where I was getting an MRI. It was just sore.”‘

‘Specifically, Allen was reportedly being evaluated for an injury to his ulnar collateral ligament (UCL) and related nerves after telling reporters after Sunday’s loss that he was feeling “slight pain” in that right throwing elbow. When asked if Allen had attempted to throw a football since Sunday, McDermott smirked and deflected, continuing to say he is day-to-day.’

‘The quarterback is reportedly being evaluated for an injury to his ulnar collateral ligament (UCL) and related nerves, according to ESPN. The team is expected to know more in the next 24 hours, per head coach Sean McDermott. Allen will undergo more tests to determine the severity of the injury and what the next steps are.’

‘Playing without Jordan Poyer and Matt Milano, Buffalo’s defense was unable to stop the Jets running game late in the game. Conversely, the Bills offense struggled to run the ball. Take away Allen’s 86 yards on nine carries, Buffalo picked up just 48 yards on 13 carries. Newly acquired running back Nyheim Hines, who was used on special teams and in the passing game, did not receive a carry.’
