Buffalo’s offensive staff will need to provide help at times for Glenn as few offensive tackles can handle Mack one-on-one. ‘In Taylor’s 35 starts with the Bills, he’s run the ball seven or more times in a game on 20 occasions. He’s averaged 5.57 yards per carry in those games, gaining almost 1,000 yards (965). In comparison to the 15 starts in which Taylor has not taken off to run at least seven times, the production for the Bills offense is better across the board.’

‘Pitts, 25, was just waived by the Jacksonville Jaguars on Tuesday. The cornerback has appeared in 14 career games for the Miami Dolphins and Jaguars serving mainly on special teams.’

At 4-2, with a 2-1 record in the conference, and currently holding the fifth seed in the AFC, it’s not about making a move for the playoffs. It’s more about staying in contention at this point in the season. And you’d have to figure when you put the standings board up in about six weeks, the Bills and Raiders figure to be vying for one of the wild card playoff spots. It’s a critical mid-season game, more important than last week’s win over an NFC opponent.’
