'Beane may feel comfortable interviewing for the Bills' general manager vacancy due to his familiarity with head coach Sean McDermott. The Bills head coach served as Carolina's defensive coordinator from 2011-2016. Beane had previously interviewed for the San Francisco 49ers' general manager job this offseason.'

'It's unknown if this is Williams' first free agent visit, but there hasn't been much public interest in the former Bills safety. Williams battled neck injuries in the last two seasons. He missed a total of 22 games between 2015 and 2016 and finished each season on the injured reserve.'

'Gaine’s front office tenure also includes stops in Miami, New York Jets, and Dallas Cowboys when Bills Parcells worked in the Dallas front office.'

'The biggest obstacle facing the Chiefs is a brutal front loaded schedule. The team has eight games against playoff teams from last year, including five on the road.'

'If Whaley was that bad a GM, why would the Pegulas let him run their draft? A new GM hired in January would have had plenty of time to use the info from the Bills' scouts to make picks.'

'According to the Texans official website, before being hired by Houston as their Director of Pro Personnel, Gaine spent six seasons with the Miami Dolphins, serving as the team’s Assistant General Manager in 2012 and 2013. Before that, Gaine was the Assistant Director of Pro Scouting for the Dallas Cowboys from 2004-07. He was with the New York Jets’ scouting department from 1999-2004, including serving as the Assistant Director of Pro Scouting his last year there.'

'Leach worked on the same staff as new Bills head coach Sean McDermott when he was an assistant to coach Andy Reid in Philadelphia from 2007-2009 before serving as the Southeast region college scout for the team from 2011-12. He then reunited with Reid in Kansas City where he’s spent the last four years.'

'This pairing would make all too much sense for the Buffalo Bills. At this point in his career, Barnidge will likely start to fit into more of a complementary role as opposed to the primary one he held for the last two seasons in Cleveland.'
