Two Bills Drive

'It’s very disappointing. Any player that you have to send home, this is not the norm. This is not what you’re looking for. Obviously, a guy with his contract status, you would hope that we would be a better leader than that and hopefully he learns from it and moves on and just be a Buffalo Bill.'

'On the positive side, Taylor was able to return home with the Bills on the team plane, but concussions are still tricky business because you never quite know the severity until a day or two after the concussion actually occurs.'

'The Bills confirmed that Marcell Dareus had been sent home from Baltimore for violating team rules, and that he would quite obviously not play against the Baltimore Ravens. Although the exact reason is unknown, Dareus not being with the team in any capacity is notable with a much more stern head coach in Sean McDermott running the show.'

'Peterman entered the game and manufactured the first team offense’s first touchdown of the preseason, marching the Bills 80 yards in the final three minutes of the first half.'

'Facing third and long on their second series, Taylor spun away from an initial tackle from Terrell Suggs before being slammed to the ground by Kamalei Correa. Taylor’s head bounced off the turf and he was immediately tended to by trainers on the field.'

'Wood has started 104 games in his career with the Bills. He suffered a broken leg during in the team’s 31-25 loss to Seattle last year and missed the final seven games of the regular season.'

'The team confirmed the 27-year-old All-Pro was sent home for violating a team rule. The Bills did not specify what the infraction was.'

'Buffalo’s offense again had trouble putting positive plays together as their first six drives covered 23 plays for a total of just 14 net yards. The Ravens did come into the game with the best defense in the preseason, but with a rookie coming in at quarterback and the run game not getting much of a push it made things difficult.'

'Taylor was sacked on a 3rd-and-7 play from the Bills’ 22-yard line and his head was whipped backward into the turf.'

'Can Tyrod Taylor put together a solid showing? We need to keep in mind that it's the preseason. Results don't matter. The Bills aren't game planning. That said … Taylor didn't look very good last week against the Eagles. His protection failed him, and when he did throw, he was picked off twice while completing just 8 of 18 passes. Clearly, the Bills aren't showing much of their offense, but what we have seen hasn't been promising. The starters, led by Taylor, need a solid performance to take some momentum into the regular season.'
