Bills draft picks through the years have run the gamut from greatness to no-shows
‘During the 1970s, the Bills made history by losing 20 consecutive games to the Miami Dolphins, a futility record that may never be matched. One of the reasons for their struggles against Miami and so many other teams (51-91-2 record for the decade) was their horrible track record on draft day. Of the 12 players they selected in the first round of the 1970s drafts, seven were flat out busts.’
Bills Draft Day Decisions: Defensive line
‘Defensive tackle is one of the most significant needs facing the Bills in terms of roster construction entering the 2025 NFL Draft. Defensive tackle DaQuan Jones is not getting any younger and is coming off a season in which he failed to make much of an impact. With Jones’ ability fading, that left fellow DT Ed Oliver on an island and Oliver failed to live up to the career year he recorded the season prior.’

‘Each NFL team’s program is conducted in three phases over a maximum of nine weeks. The Bills will use the next eight weeks for their program, opening Monday with Phase 1.’
