‘Think the same, flow the same’: Here’s how Buffalo Bills DC Bobby Babich prepares his players
‘“One thing that we do here is we are constantly setting mindsets,” Babich said last week. “It’s really important to start your week with a mindset. We kind of frame that on a week-by-week basis. But when it comes down to the individual player, you’ve really got to frame their mind of how powerful it is to believe that you are the best in the NFL. And who cares what the statistics say? Who cares what accolades you get? And all those other things.”’
Bills wide receiver Keon Coleman will not play against Indianapolis Colts
‘Coleman has been dealing with a wrist injury that he sustained against the Miami Dolphins. He has not practiced this week. McDermott said the injury could be “week to week” and “maybe beyond.” McDermott said that injured reserve has been discussed for Coleman, but he does not currently think that Coleman will head to IR.’
Ryan O’Halloran: ‘Great’ feeling for Bills cornerback Kaiir Elam to get play-time chance
‘Elam’s time with the Bills has been documented. Expectations befitting a first-round pick. … Started seven games (regular season and playoffs) in 2022 and had three interceptions. … Tried to play through an early 2023 ankle injury before he was shut down; he played only five total games. … Backup this year to Douglas and Benford.’
Will Keon Coleman play Sunday? Here’s what McDermott says about the WR’s status
‘Coleman was spotted wearing a brace on his right wrist after the game. He reportedly underwent an MRI on Monday. McDermott would not get into specifics, but when he was asked about how long he could be out, “that remains to be seen at this point.” He added that a stint on injured reserve has not been ruled out, but he’s hoping that won’t be necessary. If he were to go on the injured reserve list, it would mean he’d have to miss at least four games and thus wouldn’t be eligible to return until the Dec. 15 game in Detroit.’
Will Amari Cooper play against the Colts? McDermott updates WR’s injury status
‘“To be honest, I just listen to what the trainer says and when he gets the green light, that’s when he’s playing and we haven’t gotten that to this point,” McDermott said of Cooper. “All the while, somebody else has to step up for Keon (Coleman, who is ruled out) and if Amari can’t go.”’
Bills’ Keon Coleman ruled out vs. Colts: How much time will rookie miss?
‘The rookie sustained the injury against the Miami Dolphins last week when safety Jordan Poyer hit Coleman’s wrist/hand area with his helmet. Coleman left the game and didn’t practice this week as the Bills (7-2) have spent time evaluating the severity of the injury.’
Bills play-caller Joe Brady building trust in offense by keeping open communication with players
‘“For him to have that trust in me so early,” Allen said. “That’s obviously something that we’ve talked about, and we trust each other and feel good about, and our relationship’s only growing. So, I appreciate and respect him for that and trusting me in those types of situations, but ultimately, again, whatever he calls, I’m going to go up there and try to execute to the best of my ability.”’

Bills rookie receiver Coleman ruled out against Colts, could miss multiple weeks with wrist injury
‘Coleman appeared to be hurt Sunday when he was blindsided by Dolphins safety Jordan Poyer while attempting to make a catch on Buffalo’s eventual game-winning final drive in a 30-27 victory over Miami. Poyer was penalized for unnecessary roughness on the play, which helped set up Tyler Bass for a franchise-record 61-yard field goal.’
Bills rule out WR Keon Coleman vs. Colts with wrist injury
‘Coleman suffered a wrist injury near the end of the win vs. the Miami Dolphins in Week 9. Coach Sean McDermott said Friday that he doesn’t think he will placed on injured reserve as they anticipate he will be back before the minimum four-week injured reserve window with the team’s bye in Week 12 after hosting the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 11.’
Will Buffalo Bills WR Amari Cooper play against Indianapolis Colts?
‘Cooper aggravated his wrist in the Bills’ 31-10 win over the Seattle Seahawks in Week 8. He’s been nursing that injury ever since, and it’s still bugging him, as Cooper was limited in the Bills’ practice on Friday.’
Buffalo Bills may need to sign some wide receiver help amid piling injuries
‘Becoming too reliant on Josh Allen is a risk that Buffalo could run into, and if we’re being honest, Allen isn’t afraid to run and put his body in harm’s way when necessary. Even if their WR room was perfectly healthy, there does seem to be a need for Buffalo to add a free agent at the position.’
Bills get bad news regarding injury to WR Keon Coleman
‘Wide receiver Keon Coleman has been ruled out for Sunday’s matchup vs. the Colts, per head coach Sean McDermott in a radio appearance on WGR 550. Coleman suffered a wrist injury in the final moments of Buffalo’s Week 9 matchup with the Miami Dolphins. Josh Allen threw a deep pass to Coleman down the sideline when the rookie receiver was hit by former Bill and current Dolphins safety Jordan Poyer, who left his feet to make contact with the head of Coleman and was penalized for doing so. The hit caused Coleman to leave the game after taking a lot of force to his wrist, and he will now miss the Bills’ Week 10 game because of it.’
Keon Coleman ruled out for Bills against Colts
‘Fellow wide receiver Amari Cooper, who is also dealing with a wrist injury, is listed as questionable.’
