‘It wasn’t an easy ask, either. Van Demark lined up across from Chiefs edge rusher George Karlaftis, a former first-round draft pick who entered the game with sacks in three of his past four games and 13 quarterback hits on the season. Van Demark, though, more than held his own in helping the Bills to a 31-20 victory. Analytics website Pro Football Focus charged him with allowing just two quarterback hurries on 47 pass-blocking snaps.’

Richard Gouraige, Zach Davidson make NFL debuts for Bills in win over Chiefs
‘Gouraige played three snaps on offense, stepping in when Dion Dawkins briefly left the lineup in the fourth quarter because of an injury. “I know he was fired up about it. So he works extremely hard, it was good to see,” Bills coach McDermott said. “And then Zach Davidson getting a catch, I think first varsity time out there. So, just overall, great win.” Davidson played 11 snaps and did finish with one catch for 5 yards in the victory. Here are four more takeaways from the snap counts in the Bills’ Week 11 win:’
Position grades: Chiefs’ stellar linebackers help shut down Bills’ big-man run game
‘The Bills’ use of multiple tight ends and an extra offensive lineman in various configurations has been mostly outstanding this season. Not in Sunday’s 30-21 victory over the Chiefs.’
Joe Brady watch: Three-receiver group was by far the best for Bills vs. Chiefs
‘Joe Brady threw a lot of personnel groupings at the Kansas City Chiefs in Sunday’s big Buffalo Bills victory. However, the only one that was very successful was the three-receiver set, 11 personnel. The Bills were able to pass reasonably well on the Chiefs, who entered the game ranked No. 5 in points allowed and No. 4 in yards allowed. As expected, however, the Chiefs were stingy against the run. The Bills gained 104 rushing yards, but 44 came on scrambles by Josh Allen, capped by his game-clinching 26-yard touchdown run.’
Bills ready to sell about 20% minority stake in team, according to report
‘The Bills cannot disclose who they are negotiating or speaking with during this process, but said earlier this month that there has been a “significant amount of interest” among potential minority partners. The team reiterated that Monday.’
Alan Pergament: Tony Romo spies all the key moments in Bills’ aggressive march to victory over Chiefs
‘There was no mistake about it: CBS’ No. 1 crew had a strong game.’
Bills may see starters on offense return from injury when they play 49ers after bye week
‘“No new additions to the injury list at this point,” McDermott said. “The message I’m getting from our training room is ‘we’ll let you know how this week goes.’” The Bills had three key offensive starters sit out Sunday’s 30-21 victory over the Chiefs – tight end Dalton Kincaid, wide receiver Keon Coleman and right tackle Spencer Brown. They also saw left tackle Dion Dawkins and safety Taylor Rapp suffer what appear to be minor injuries in the game, though both returned to play.’
Bills Week 11 PFF grades: Josh Allen and weapons shine vs. Chiefs in 30-21 win
‘According to PFF, Buffalo’s best overall performance was Sunday against the Chiefs. The analytics site gave Buffalo its highest overall grade of the year (78.5). In addition to the overall grade, Buffalo had its highest grades in offense (81.2), passing (83.7), and tackling (82.6).’
Upon Further Review: Bills combine scheme with execution to keep Patrick Mahomes at bay
‘“If rush and coverage aren’t working together, it doesn’t matter,” Bills defensive coordinator Bobby Babich said. “… They complemented each other well. There were even a lot of non-statistical things that the D-line did that was really, really a major factor in the outcome of the game.”’
Amari Cooper feels the ‘joy’ of Buffalo Bills’ victory over Kansas City Chiefs
‘“This is the first time in like a long time that I’ve actually felt joy from winning this game,” Cooper said, “from just the way we played, from having so many guys on the team who are playmakers, and they come up and they show up when their number is called. Collectively as a group, it’s just amazing.”‘
Kansas City’s Undefeated Season Is Kaput. Can Buffalo Beat Them in the Playoffs?
‘But overall, the rivalry’s been rather soul crushing on the Buffalo side, after brutal losses in the 2020 and 2021 season playoffs and last year’s painful defeat in the AFC divisional round. Losses like those leave deep psychic wounds, a long scar of coulda-woulda-shoulda. A victory in the third week of November isn’t a cure.’
See you in the playoffs? Chiefs, Bills deserve an encore in postseason
‘So often, highly anticipated sporting events fail to live up to the hype. Not with Chiefs-Bills.’
Statement win or not, it’s time to start taking the Bills seriously after toppling the Chiefs
‘“It means we have nine wins,” added Allen. “Last time I checked, nine wins probably doesn’t get you into the playoffs.”’
Ex-NBA stars Carter, McGrady part of group seeking to buy stake in Buffalo Bills, AP source says
‘The person spoke to the AP on the condition of anonymity because the league didn’t release the agenda for the committee meeting scheduled for Tuesday. The committee will also consider Ares Management’s bid to buy 10% of the Miami Dolphins, the person said.’
Josh Allen, Bills Hope Chiefs Win Foreshadows Something Bigger
‘“The standard that we’ve set as a team, as a culture, whoever’s playing is expected to play at that level and that standard,” fresh-faced, third-year linebacker Terrel Bernard told me from the victorious locker room Sunday night. “That’s been our motto. We lost a lot of great players, lot of veterans and captains on this team last year. New guys got to step up and play to that level and rise to the occasion. That’s what we’ve been doing.”’
