‘Douglas and the Bills are in an interesting spot. He doesn’t turn 30 until just before the start of the 2025 season, so he’s not old, but he’s not exactly young, either. With that being the case, he’s probably going to look to maximize his earnings on his next deal, which could be his last, best chance to cash in big. Committing big dollars to a player 30 or older always comes with some risk. Outside of Von Miller, the Bills haven’t done a lot of that. They moved on from 30-something veterans Micah Hyde, Jordan Poyer and Mitch Morse in the offseason.’
