‘Thomas is big, fast and has great production. He had 1,177 receiving yards last season with 17 touchdown catches, which led the Football Bowl Subdivision. Thomas widely is viewed as the No. 4 receiver in the draft, behind Ohio State’s Marvin Harrison Jr., Washington’s Rome Odunze and LSU’s Malik Nabers, all three of whom will be long gone before the Bills’ scheduled pick at No. 28 overall.’

The Editorial Board: Abrupt disbanding of stadium oversight task force raises questions
‘If any of this sounds odd, it should. Pardon our logic, but if another group has to continue the work, the work isn’t done. The task force, which included representatives from the Buffalo Urban League, NAACP, Independent Contractors Guild of WNY and the Buffalo Black Chamber of Commerce, had its first meeting as recently as last October. It named a chair, Patrick Freeman, in November, and it had not finished accumulating the data it needed to complete and submit a hiring report.’
Buffalo Bills to release Nyheim Hines. How much will team save in cap space?
‘Hines, 27, joined the Bills at the trade deadline in 2022. Bills general manager Brandon Beane thought he was adding another weapon to Buffalo’s offense by acquiring the back, but then-offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey struggled to find ways to involve the back in the team’s game plans. In nine games with Buffalo, Hines carried the ball six times for negative three yards. He added five receptions for 53 yards and one score in the receiving game.’
Bills expected to release Nyheim Hines in cost-cutting move
‘Hines is set to be owed $5.16 million next season and the Bills can save $4.66 million by releasing him prior to June 1, according to overthecap.com. Hines was acquired by the Bills from Indianapolis before the trade deadline in 2022, but never became a major part of the offense.’
Report: Bills to release running back Nyheim Hines
‘As a kick returner, Hines returned 19 kicks in 2022 for the Bills for an average of 29.2 yards per-return. This included a game in Week 18 of the season against the New England Patriots, where he returned two kickoffs for touchdowns less than a week after safety Damar Hamlin nearly died on the field in a matchup with the Cincinnati Bengals.’
Report: Buffalo Bills plan to release RB/KR Nyheim Hines
‘Hines did not play this past season after suffering an ACL injury during a jet ski accident in the offseason. Hines was struck by one, causing injuries to both his ACL and MCL.’
