‘“It’s a really deep group,” agrees ESPN analyst Mel Kiper. “So you can wait. I think six wide receivers go in the first maybe seven, another six or seven in the second, I think six or seven in the third. So it’s 27 total with grades inside of the fourth round. So wide receiver is a position where you can get help if you wait.”’

Mock Draft I: A longer wait for Bills to pick, but WR is available
’44. Buffalo Bills (projected trade with Las Vegas). Xavier Legette, WR, South Carolina. Legette is 6-foot-1 and weighs 221 pounds, but ran a 4.39-second 40-yard dash at the NFL scouting combine, so he has an intriguing blend of size and speed. He’s thought to have a good catch radius and outstanding instincts in the open field. At this point in the draft, while adding a third-round pick, Legette would give the Bills outstanding value and a potential replacement as the team’s No. 1 receiver if they decide to move on from Stefon Diggs, perhaps as soon as after the 2024 season.’
Bills Mailbag: Why trading Dawson Knox isn’t an option right now
‘If Knox was traded before the draft, his cap hit for 2024 would be $17.54 million. That’s $9.812 million more than what it’s scheduled to be – $7.728 million. Trading him would put the Bills over the salary cap. The first chance for the Bills to get out from Knox’s contract is after the 2025 season, so it’s a good bet he’s here for at least the next two years. With that being true, it will be interesting to see how offensive coordinator Joe Brady utilizes both Knox and Kincaid in the offense.’
Bills continue adding depth in trenches, ink Williams to one-year deal
‘Williams, 31, is quite the journeyman. Throughout his career, he was cut 10 times and then joined the Canadian Football League but was released in 2020 when the CFL season was canceled because of COVID. The new puzzle piece on the Bills defensive line worked at an Amazon warehouse in 2020, but then received another opportunity to restore his NFL career with the Denver Broncos and has been in the league ever since.’
NFL draft composite top 50 ranking: Offense is clearly the focus
‘“You’ve got quarterbacks, you’ve got receivers, you’ve got offensive tackles,” said NFL Network draft analyst Daniel Jeremiah on a conference call with NFL reporters. “That to me is kind of the highlight that we’re working with here. A lot of depth at those positions.”’
Ryan O’Halloran: Leslie Frazier brings ‘wise’ experience to Seattle staff
‘“Les is a wise man,” Macdonald said. “He can see around corners and he has such great relationships with everybody in the league. He was extremely helpful with hiring staff and the guys he recommended. And just to have someone you trust and have as a confidant every day, you can have a bunch of conversations with him every day to make sure you’re on the right track and make the right decisions.”’
Poloncarz angry at Bills’ lack of transparency with season ticket holders over PSLs
‘He speculated Friday that the team wants to see how much money it can collect from club seat season ticket holders in one-time PSL fees before deciding how much to charge all other season ticket holders for their PSLs.’
New Buffalo Bills DT loaded Amazon and UPS trucks before getting back into league (4 things to know)
‘With the CFL not playing in 2020, Williams worked in a warehouse loading items into Amazon and UPS trucks.’
In trading up for a receiver comes a cost the Bills can’t pay and history says they may not want to tempt
‘The Bills don’t currently have the resources to make such a move, nor can they risk future resources for such an impulsive decision. Perhaps they could move up into the middle of the first round if the fourth option, LSU’s Brian Thomas Jr. shoots up draft boards, but history says trading up for a receiver at any point in the first round isn’t a fruitful endeavor for any team seeking to make or win a Super Bowl.’
Damar Hamlin goes off on Antonio Brown over apparent Twitter feud
‘”A fictional character’s death you have not gotten over” would bring up emotions of characters in Game of Thrones, Opie Winston from Sons of Anarchy and Marissa Cooper from The O.C. Former NFL wide receiver Antonio Brown took it one step further and went after Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin.’
Saying ‘It’s all about money’, Poloncarz launches blistering attack on Buffalo Bills PSL process
‘”They love you as much as the amount of money you bring to the table,” he said as he launched a blistering attack on the team. Bills fans, so far mainly suite and club seat holders, have been learning the costs associated with their proposed seats in the new stadium, including the cost of a PSL, which can be financed over time.’

Poloncarz slams Buffalo Bills PSL process: ‘It’s wrong’
‘“The modern NFL really doesn’t care about smaller markets,” Poloncarz said during an acerbic four-and-a-half minute response to a question about PSLs. “It is a business. The other owners don’t care if the average fan in Buffalo can afford tickets in the new stadium. They just want to make as much money as they can. And its going to be like that not just for the PSL cost but with the increased prices associated with, probably, the tickets themselves.”’
‘Very upsetting,’ Poloncarz says, as anger and confusion over Bills PSL pricing continues to grow
