‘“It’s the culmination of a long-hard season,” Levy said on getting to the Super Bowl. “Buffalo fans are truly unique. And, someday they will be awarded with that Super Bowl Championship and that would be rewarding for us all.”’

James Cook, Khalil Shakir helped Bills see yards after catch boost
‘Cook, the Bills’ second-year running back, gave the Bills 405 yards after catch, compared with 259 by Devin Singletary in 2022. Cook’s YAC per reception was 9.2, which ranked 12th among backs with at least 20 catches and seventh best among backs with 30 or more catches. Singletary’s average was 6.8 per catch in 2022.’
Now with Cleveland, ex-Bills assistant Ken Dorsey looks back, forward
‘“One of the big things is, it gave me time to kind of go back and look at it and (say), ‘OK, here’s what we were doing schematically and how we were utilizing our personnel,’ and really evaluate what we were doing,” Dorsey told the Cleveland-area media. “When I did, I felt like there were a lot of great things that we were doing. There are always things (of), ‘Hey, maybe I would do this a little bit different moving forward.’”’
Is Stefon Diggs embarking on another mysterious offseason with Buffalo Bills?
‘Yes, he wasn’t as productive in the second half as he had been in the first; there is some change happening in Buffalo because Joe Brady is now the full-time offensive coordinator and wide receiver Gabe Davis will likely leave in free agency; and Diggs is planning to work hard in the offseason like he always does.’
Senior Bowl: Bills’ brass present in Mobile as Buffalo has many holes to fill
‘With the potential loss of Davis this offseason, University of Central Florida WR Javon Baker could be a potential target for Buffalo. The 6-foot-1, 208-pound receiver had a good week in Mobile, showing his ability to high-point the football in a 1v1 rep and his game-breaking speed.’
Where is the cap space coming? Bills’ candidates to be casualties, extensions and restructures
‘The Bills have 22 unrestricted free agents, some of whom can return on cheap deals and will still have to fill out the roster in free agency and sign their draft picks. So it’s time to start looking at who might not be around next season.’
Buffalo Bills Mock Draft Watch 1.0 | 2024
‘Powers-Johnson, who was one of the stars of the Senior Bowl before leaving midway through the second practice with a hamstring injury, has a great combination of agility and size. The 334-pounder would immediately be one of the largest centers in the NFL, but he moves like someone 20 pounds lighter. He is a downhill blocker, but Buffalo would love his size in the middle of an offensive line that has renewed its commitment to running the ball.’
Will Josh Allen win the NFL MVP? Here’s the case for and against
‘He threw 11 interceptions during that 5-5 start, but that number dropped to seven picks in the next 10 games. His 18 interceptions ranked second in the NFL, behind Washington’s Sam Howell, and was seven more than the next-closest MVP finalist, San Francisco’s Brock Purdy. Another MVP candidate, Dak Prescott, threw half the number of interceptions (9) and did so on 11 more attempts than Allen. Lamar Jackson threw only seven picks, but on 122 fewer attempts.’
Josh Allen finishes tied for sixth at AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am
‘Josh Allen finally got the best of Tom Brady. Unfortunately, it took place on the golf course, not the football field.’
Senior Bowl observations: Texas DT is a throwback to Bills great Ted Washington
‘ESPN analyst Mel Kiper last week speculated that Sweat would be a good target for the Bills at No. 28 if they opt not to pick a wide receiver in the first round. It’s unclear whether NFL scouts view him that highly or if he might last to late in the second round. NFL Network analyst Daniel Jeremiah lists Sweat No. 48 on his top-50 list.’
Bills Mailbag: Does Micah Hyde have a future in Buffalo?
‘Hyde sounded, to me, like someone ready for retirement. Now, it should be pointed out that things can change after some extended down time. In speaking with him, though, I think he was worn down both mentally and physically by the end of the season. It is always scary when a player is dealing with a neck injury, and even though Hyde’s doctors have cleared him to play, it has to be concerning to him to know that one movement the wrong way can cause the stinger issue that he is dealing with to flare up at any time. He did say that he feels better with rest, which keeps the door open, but if I was to predict the future today, my thinking is he will retire.’
Damar Hamlin surprise: Buffalo teacher gets Super Bowl tickets for lifesaving efforts on I-190
‘Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin, team mascot Billy Buffalo and Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield President Dr. Michael Edbauerburst into his downtown classroom with a gift in tow: two oversized tickets to Super Bowl LVIII in Las Vegas.’
Ten Lives Club will put ‘every penny’ of $377,000 raised for Bills kicker Tyler Bass toward caring for cats
‘As of Thursday, Ten Lives Club had received more than $377,000 from football fans and cat lovers around the world, said Kimberly LaRussa, the rescue’s public relations manager. “Every penny counts to help these rescue cats,” LaRussa said. “So to receive that kind of donation in such a short period of time is nothing short of remarkable.”’
Jim and Jill Kelly have devoted their lives to saving others from the pain of losing a child. Their work paid off
‘Knowing that, the Kellys and their Hunter’s Hope staff and consultants have worked for the last 20 years to get Krabbe on newborn screening lists across the country. It’s been a state-by-state effort, with 11 signing on so far, and a 12th (Minnesota) potentially adding Krabbe later this month.’
Nephew of Buffalo Bills WR Stefon Diggs roasts Jets’ Sauce Gardner at Pro Bowl practice
‘“Sauce, what’s up? You trying to talk trash about my uncle (Stefon). I heard you,” Diggs told Gardner to the enjoyment of coach Ray Lewis and some of the other players viewing the interaction. “And look what happened. He scored on you on that Week 1 game.”’
