‘“I think 2019 and ’20 were some of my happiest years,” he said. “Just that group of guys we had there, it was just different. Also, the Covid year was in there, so, I think that all changed everyone, that we all went through that together. At the end of the day, it was just us, just the players. ‘“We deserve it, we deserve to have a championship, but, like we said in the movie, it’s kind of O.K. the way it is, too. What I heard from people who came out to see the movie was that they felt better about the season. Nobody tells you that it’s O.K. to lose and have an awesome experience.”’

‘The Bills need to rejoin the ranks of teams that have terrific receiver tandems. The Miami Dolphins have Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle, the Philadelphia Eagles have A.J. Brown and Devonta Smith, and the Cincinnati Bengals have Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins, although Higgins will be an unrestricted free agent.’
