After taking over mid-season, Bills hire Joe Brady as offensive coordinator

Inside the Bills: Stefon Diggs’ dramatic drop in production needs to be addressed
‘“I think teams were doing a good job of playing two high (safeties) and taking some things away that we were doing well during the season,” Allen said. “I thought we ran the ball more and put more effort into the run game. Then I missed a few throws early on in the season or the middle of the season, late in the season that could have changed the narrative about this whole thing. So just get back to what we know, how we can play and that’s about it.”’
Bills Mailbag: Should Sean McDermott add a defensive coordinator to his staff?
‘McDermott and Vrabel do have a good relationship, but I’d be surprised if that happens. The main reason is Vrabel would likely want to come to a team that gives him total control over the defense – if he were even willing to serve as a defensive coordinator. He wouldn’t have that under McDermott in Buffalo. If Vrabel doesn’t get a head-coaching job – openings remain in Seattle and Washington – I could see him working in TV for a year and then trying again when the 2025 hiring cycle starts.’

‘Washington, 54, joined the Bills coaching staff in 2020 after seven seasons with the Carolina Panthers. Bills coach Sean McDermott promoted Washington to assistant head coach before last season after taking over as defensive coordinator when Leslie Frazier left the team.’
