James Cook leads dominant rushing attack as Bills trample Cowboys 31-10
‘“I felt like the kid that didn’t do anything in a class project but got an A,” Allen said after he threw for just 94 yards, with a touchdown passing and one rushing. “But I’ll do this 10 times out of 10 times, man. Like, keep going.”’
Bills’ Josh Allen perfectly sums up poor passing performance in team’s dominant win
‘Allen and the offense had the Cowboys on their heels the entire game. It started with a Latavius Murray 2-yard touchdown run in the first quarter and then continued with Allen’s touchdown pass to Cook and his own rushing touchdown before the half.’
Bills’ big rushing day behind James Cook shows growth of offense
‘”Everything,” tight end Dawson Knox said when asked what Cook did to be successful. “… He’s just a hell of a player, so giving him any space, giving him matchups on the outside in the pass game. [Interim offensive coordinator] Joe Brady does an awesome job, scheming that up, and then the o-linemen do a fantastic job, open up the holes for him. He’s got crazy vision, too, so he’s gonna bounce it wherever he sees it.”‘
Bills vs. Cowboys score, takeaways: Buffalo bullies Dallas on the ground behind James Cook’s career day
‘No, the Bills’ standout on Sunday was running back James Cook. The second-year, second-round pick totaled a career-high 179 rushing yards on 25 carries with a touchdown, a 24-yarder. That comes out to a 7.2 yards per carry average. Cook also tallied 42 yards receiving on two catches, including an 18-yard receiving score in the second quarter. That performance makes Cook the first Bills player with 200+ scrimmage yards (221), one or more rushing touchdown and one or more receiving touchdowns in a game since Hall of Fame running back Thurman Thomas did so back in the 1991 season.’
Bills Creatively Troll Cowboys After Blowout Win, and NFL Fans Couldn’t Stop Laughing
‘In a play on the famous saying, the post showed a graphic of the Texas state flag shaped like a giant “L” and the caption “Everything is bigger in Texas.” Yikes.’
Josh Allen Likens His Limited Role in Bills’ Win to Slacking Off in Group Project
‘The Bills running game was so good, in fact, that Allen attempted just 15 passes and threw for 94 yards. He did account for two total touchdowns, but such a stat line would normally be associated with a Buffalo loss, not a victory.’
Bills’ James Cook Had a Three-Word Message After Dominant Game vs. Cowboys
‘“Today was FUN.”’
How have Bills clawed back into playoff contention? By changing their identity
‘The shift is due, in large part, to the transition from offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey, fired in November, to interim OC Joe Brady. Dorsey focused his offense around Allen and receiver Stefon Diggs, and if those two weren’t clicking, the whole thing crumbled. Under Brady, Diggs has not eclipsed 75 receiving yards. Diggs led the team in receiving yards (48) against Dallas, but as mentioned, the Bills didn’t need to throw the ball a whole lot.’
Bills’ playoff path in focus after dominant, run heavy win over Cowboys
‘Well, these might not be the new Buffalo Bills, but they are certainly a team capable of winning games in ways we haven’t seen previously. They did that a week ago in Kansas City by grinding-out a 20-17 win on the road against the Chiefs. Then on Sunday against Dallas, Buffalo took that a step further, riding running back James Cook for 179 yards on the ground and 42 more through the air in a dominating 31-10 win over the Cowboys at Orchard Park, New York.’
Cowboys vs. Bills final score, results: James Cook stars as Buffalo crushes Dallas in Week 15
‘The standout of Sunday’s game was Bills running back James Cook. He carried the ball 25 times for 179 yards with a touchdown while adding 42 yards and a score through the air.’
James Cook stats today: Bills RB runs Cowboys’ defense ragged in eye-catching display
‘Cook was omnipresent in Buffalo’s 31-10 win over Dallas. He ran. He caught passes. He blocked. And, as evidenced by his tumble into pay dirt, he was even okay with getting a little dirty to do so.’
Bills playoff picture: Buffalo’s updated chances make 2023 NFL playoffs after Week 15 win over Cowboys
‘Buffalo entered the week in a six-way tie for sixth-place in the conference but now, they have the same record as just four wild-card teams. The Bengals, Colts and Texans all currently rank ahead of them because the Bills are behind in several tiebreaker categories, including a head-to-head one with the Bengals and their conference record of 4-5 against the marks of all three teams.’
Did Josh Allen get a game ball instead of James Cook? Sean McDermott’s locker room speech clip stirs awkward questions
‘McDermott’s decision to present Allen a game ball drew the attention — and ire — of Buffalo’s fans. Why? Because they believed Cook was more deserving of the honor.’
Bills run game dominates Dallas
‘The Buffalo Bills running game led by James Cook dominates the Dallas Cowboys defense on Sunday afternoon taking down the Cowboys 31-10 at Highmark Stadium.’
