‘”We didn’t win a football game,” Brady said. “Our job is not to outgain the opposing team, our job is to outscore them. And whatever that means, on a week-to-week thing, whether we have to score 15 points, whether we have to score 50 points, whatever that is, it’s going to be different. There’s a way to win it. It’s not about the success that we might have had, it’s that we didn’t win the football game and so whenever you lose that, and you got to look at yourself in the mirror and say, ‘Hey, what could I have done better?’ And, you know, that’s what I think the rest of our offense is doing, me in particular.”‘

Upon Further Review: Josh Allen deserved a chance at the end of regulation Sunday
‘To that point, the Bills’ quarterback had been on fire, leading his team to the go-ahead touchdown with 1:52 remaining before the defense coughed the lead up. The Bills had one timeout to work with and a drive start at their 25-yard line. Certainly, getting into position to attempt a game-winning field goal at the end of regulation would not have been easy. But would it have been impossible?’
Ed Oliver plays nearly every defensive snap for Bills in loss to Eagles
‘The team’s top defensive tackle played an astounding 60 of the team’s 66 defensive snaps, which was 91%. For a team that rotates as much as the Bills do on the defensive line, that’s a huge number. Coming into this season, Oliver’s career high for percentage of snaps played in a game was 75.9%, which he reached last year in Week 10 against Minnesota. He’s had three games this season over 80% of the snaps, topped by Sunday’s showing.’
Bills position grades: Another record-setting day by Josh Allen wasted in defeat
‘Quarterback (5.0). The Eagles blitzed Allen 17 times and he hurt them, going 12 of 16 on those plays for 156 yards and scrambling for a 16-yard TD against a blitz. When they tried to spy him, that didn’t work, either. Allen converted a third-and-9 play in overtime by running past defensive end Haason Reddick on his lone spying play for 15 yards. Reddick has 4.53 speed. Allen’s pocket presence was exceptional, especially late in the down on a 22-yard second quarter pass to Stefon Diggs and a 29-yarder to James Cook. It was an MVP-caliber game for Allen, for naught.’
‘Our emotions boiled over, and I made a mistake’: Bills’ Shaq Lawson makes contact with Eagles fan
‘During the exchange, Phillips and the fan are face to face before Lawson then appears to shove the fan with his right hand. Defensive end Leonard Floyd then comes over and leads both Lawson and Phillips back to the bench as security intervenes. Phillips and then Oliver head back toward the stands and ask two security guards to eject the fan. Two other security guards are standing in front of the fan, trying to calm the situation. A league source told The Buffalo News on Monday that both NFL and stadium security representative were made aware of the threats made during the game.’
Minority-owned restaurants hoping for place in new Bills stadium find home at ECC
‘“If it wasn’t for this college opening up this campus cafeteria, which has been essentially non-existent since pre-Covid days, we would not be here today,” said Erie County Legislator Chair April Baskin. “The Taste of Diversity series is allowing these business owners to get the necessary experience to bid on the forthcoming contracts for the stadium and other large-scale projects in our region. They’re gaining practical experience that will help them level up their business and create generational wealth for their families that has been missing in communities of color.”’
Alan Pergament: Nantz is the maestro documenting another movie Bills fans have seen before
‘As Nantz noted, Allen has never won an overtime game. Once again, it wasn’t his fault.’
Beyond belief, Bills’ loss wastes Allen’s Philly gem
‘You’d think a coach who saw Patrick Mahomes get into field goal range in 13 seconds would think it’s worth a shot to try it in 20. Even last year, the Bills were in an almost identical situation — tied, with 23 seconds left, albeit with all three timeouts — and Allen hit Stefon Diggs to immediately get in range for a walk-off kick in Detroit over the Lions on Thanksgiving. So what changed? Allen was fantastic for the majority of the game — save for one bad interception — why not give him the chance to win the game?’
What are the Buffalo Bills’ playoff odds following heartbreaking overtime loss to Eagles?
‘”After Sunday’s overtime loss to the Eagles, the Bills’ playoff chances have dipped to 37.9% according to Dimers’ NFL futures model, a sharp drop from the 56.1% chance they had going into Week 12,” said Slade. “Such a large decline in the Bills’ playoff hopes is not unexpected, given that the loss brought their record to .500. With that said, if division rivals the Dolphins lose in Week 13, when the Bills have a bye, it could greatly improve Buffalo’s playoff hopes heading into Week 14.”’
Buffalo Bills player shoved Eagles fan during Sunday’s loss; teammate says he was threatened
‘Video posted on X shows several Bills defenders approach the stands behind the Bills sideline to confront a group of rowdy fans. Defensive tackle Jordan Phillips is seen getting in a fan’s face. Lawson approached and can be seen shoving one of the fans right behind the Bills’ sideline. Ed Oliver and Greg Rousseau were also part of the scuffle. Leonard Floyd eventually grabbed his teammates and pulled them away.’
Hochuli defends refs’ blown calls in Bills-Eagles game amid criticism
‘The Bills would have had the ball at about the 2-yard line after a horsecollar penalty and a fresh set of downs. Instead, they were backed up into a 3rd and 16 and Allen couldn’t connect with Trent Sherfield over the middle of the field. But that play has also been heavily criticized.’
Bills’ end-of-game decisions are squandering Josh Allen’s comeback heroics
‘With the loss, the Bills fell to 28-29 in one-score games under coach Sean McDermott and 22-23 in games Allen has started and finished since entering the league in 2018. During the same time span, Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs are 39-19 in one-score games, while the Eagles are 17-8 since Jalen Hurts became the starter in 2020.’
Bills’ Shaq Lawson, Jordan Phillips explain Eagles fan confrontation: ‘Line that shouldn’t be crossed’
‘“Those of you who know me know that I’m all about the fans, and I have a lot of respect for the game I play and my opponents,” Lawson wrote on his private Instagram page, according to ESPN. “Before the game started yesterday, there was a fan behind our bench, who was making life threatening remarks towards us and our families. We asked Philadelphia security to remove the fan, but he was allowed to stay for the entire game.’
Jordan Poyer’s wife, Rachel Bush, blasts officiating in Bills’ overtime loss to Eagles
‘“When are we going to start holding them accountable and calling this out!? Enough give me a break, if you’re watching this game it’s more than clear.”’
‘Threatening’ Eagles fans sent Bills players over the edge during Sunday’s loss
‘“Those of you who know me know that I’m all about the fans, and I have a lot of respect for the game I play and my opponents,” Lawson wrote on Instagram on Monday. “Before the game started yesterday, there was a fan behind our bench, who was making life threatening remarks towards us and our families. We asked Philadelphia security to remove the fan, but he was allowed to stay for the entire game. Eventually, our emotions boiled over, and I made a mistake. For that, I apologize, but there are certain lines that should not be crossed.”’
