Unsung heroes | Quintin Morris, Deonte Harty and Dorian Williams step up in Bills win over Giants
‘”Great, I mean, he’s been working his tail off,” Allen said on how it felt to see Harty find the end zone for the first time this season. “He’s a guy that doesn’t complain. He works extremely hard in practice. He’s made some really big plays for us in the last couple games that have helped us out quite a bit. So as the year goes on, we got to find more ways to utilize him and his talent.”‘

Middle man: Changing faces on Bills’ defense amplifies role for middle linebacker Terrel Bernard
‘Bernard’s preparation has been on display through five games. He has not merely ably replaced Tremaine Edmunds at middle linebacker, he’s made Edmunds a semi-afterthought. Bernard has been that sound in directing pre-snap traffic and that consistent in producing post-snap. He leads the Bills’ defense in snaps played (288 of a possible 301) and tackles (45, which is tied for 14th in the NFL through five weeks).’

Bills Mailbag: Why hasn’t Dalton Kincaid had a bigger role on the offense?
‘Here is what Ken Dorsey said in part about that topic this week: “Dalton’s really kind of grown into a player that we can definitely move around, do some different things with. Very good route runner, good feel for the game. I think it’s something that we need to continue to grow, need to continue to make sure that he’s a big part of this offense and continue to grow that.” Dorsey went on for another 100 words or so, but you get the point. Translated, he’s saying the Bills need to get Kincaid the ball more. To your point, Bob, it would be nice if that would happen down the field. Kincaid’s average depth of target, according to the NFL’s Next Gen Stats, is 3.9 yards. Of 115 players who have been targeted at least 15 times this season, that ranks tied for sixth in terms of the shortest distance down field. Of Kincaid’s 17 catches, only four of them have produced a first down. So he’s not stretching the field and he’s not moving the sticks at the moment.’

Last Sunday morning, proving the point, maybe 200 loyalists in Bills gear packed in to watch Buffalo lose to the Jaguars – a record turnout for the group, as far as anyone knows.’
Voice of the Fan: Bills have Giant opportunity after adding injuries to insult
‘The blame game and bickering by Bills fans in the aftermath of the London Fog of War was quick and mostly warranted in the immediate aggravation. The team looked stale, pale, pasty and downright exhausted right off the bat. A lot like their British hosts.’
