‘”At the end of the day, you have to find a rhythm,” McDermott said. “We got to establish a line of scrimmage and get our quarterback in a good rhythm. It’s probably a little bit of everything, it’s usually never just one thing. So, we got to go look at that and look hard at it.”‘

Ken Dorsey on mixing up play calling more: “it’s definitely something we’ll look at”
‘“It’s definitely something we’ll look at and make sure that we’re keeping a defense of off balance by, you know, things that that that we’re doing. At the same time, you know, you you want to make sure you’re doing stuff that you guys can go out and execute and against a bunch of different looks that you’re going to see. So I think there’s there’s definitely a balance there of, you know, having having your core, but at the same time having having some different wrinkles to keep a defense off balance, yes.”’
Efficient second half lifts Bills to comeback win over Giants
‘The Bills had gone 30 consecutive games without being shutout in a half. After halftime adjustments, Buffalo leaned on their running game and quick passing game to move the chains. Two of their three second half possessions went for touchdowns.’
Sean McDermott provides injury updates on Damien Harris, Josh Allen and other Bills heading into Week 7
‘”He’s doing well, or as well as can be expected,” McDermott shared. “He is out of the hospital and resting at home and seems to be in good spirits.”‘
Observations: No style points awarded, but Bills hold on for much-needed win over Giants
‘In the end, that’s all that really matters for the home team, but this is a game tape that won’t be on its way to the Pro Football Hall of Fame any time soon.’
Ryan O’Halloran: Bills win, but broken offense is cause for concern
‘One game is a hiccup in the NFL, but two games is a trend, and right now, the Bills aren’t trending in any kind of good way. The offense is broken and in need of instant repairs.’
Quintin Morris: ‘Just happy (Josh Allen) trusted me to make a play’ on Bills game-winning touchdown
‘“Really, it’s just a busted play,” Morris said. “Of course, we got Josh Allen on our team. And so, it’s really never over. (He) started scrambling. He was able to find me there in the end zone, and, you know, that’s what Josh does. And I’m just happy he trusted me to make a play.”’
Bills notes: Running back Damien Harris leaves field in ambulance
‘Buffalo Bills running back Damien Harris is “heading in a good direction,” coach Sean McDermott said, after Harris left the field at Highmark Stadium in an ambulance late in the second quarter of Sunday night’s 14-9 victory against the New York Giants.’
Three questions: Bills secondary receiving weapons mostly come up small vs. Giants

How it happened: Top plays, standout players from Bills’ win over Giants

Plays that shaped the game: Bills defenders describe two key goal-line stands vs. Giants
‘Johnson jammed Waller at the line and grabbed the tight end’s jersey with his right hand. There was no call for pass interference. The official in the back of the end zone likely was shielded by Waller, who was turning back to the ball.’
Report Card: Grades reflect nature of Bills’ too-close-for-comfort win
‘The Bills weren’t ready to play again. That’s inexcusable. When the entire stadium knows it’s a bad idea to be in shotgun on second-and-goal from the 1-inch line, that’s a bad look for offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey. Fans are sometimes too quick to place blame on the offensive coordinator, but in this case, it’s justified. Dorsey was a problem Sunday night. Sean McDermott made some questionable calls as it relates to game management. Why not have Bass attempt a 55-yard field goal? Why have him try a 53-yard field goal in the same direction he had previously missed a 52-yarder when he could have run the ball again, made the Giants use their last timeout and then pinned them deep with a punt? McDermott and Co. are lucky the defense bailed out the team, or else the criticism and second-guessing would reach a fever pitch.’
Bills DT Ed Oliver fined twice for second straight game
‘Through five games, the Bills have been fined nine times by the league for on-field actions; their opponents have been issued five fines.’
The Bills make fans want to shout … loudly and getting louder: Why stadium crowd noise matters
‘A jet plane’s roar registers at around 140 decibels on takeoff, and Bills fans have come close. In a 2015 attempt to win the Guinness World Record for loudest crowd roar, Bills fans hit 124.8 decibels.’
Greater Buffalo Sports Hall of Fame: Bob Chandler made most of Bills career
‘“I’d say, it’s probably about time,” said Tony Greene, the former Bills star defensive back and great friend of Chandler. “Playing in Buffalo at the time was a little tough in terms of recognition. One, we didn’t win a lot. Two, we had O.J. (Simpson), who took up most of the headlines, and deservedly so. But for about three or four years, we had a pretty good team that nobody knew about. We only got to one playoff game, but we had a good bunch of guys.”’
