‘Josh Allen and company will see another top 10 defense on Sunday in the Patriots. Even though New England is 1-5 through six games, they rank 10th allowing an average of 306.7 total yards per game.’

5 things to watch for in Bills at Patriots | Week 7
‘New England’s offense has strangely struggled more when facing four-man rushes. Patriots QB Mac Jones has thrown all seven of his interceptions this season against four-man rushes, which is tops among starting quarterbacks. His passer rating (71.8) ranks 31st and his completion percentage (63.2%) ranks 28th.’
Game Predictions | Bills at Patriots | Week 7
‘The Patriots are a mess right now, but the Bills didn’t look great in beating the Giants on Sunday night. That won’t matter here. The Bills have owned the Patriots in recent years and this version of Bill Belichick’s team is awful. Look for Josh Allen and the offense to get back on track here.’

How a childhood accident once made Bills left guard Connor McGovern a Patriots fan
‘“I told my parents whoever won that game I’ll be a fan of,” McGovern said. “And that’s how I became a Patriots fan.”’
Ryan O’Halloran: Bills defense needs to fix two issues – and quickly
‘The Bills are allowing a whopping 5.4 yards per carry, second worst in the league behind Denver (5.6), a product of allowing 16 “explosive” rushes (gain of at least 12 yards), including six of at least 31 yards.’
Buffalo Bills’ Ed Oliver, Quintin Morris ruled out against Patriots; Damien Harris to IR
‘The Bills are already without defensive tackle DaQuan Jones, who tore his pectoral muscle against the Jacksonville Jaguars.’
Erik Brady: Out of his Ellement, Boston Globe reporter relishes being Bills fan in Boston
‘Ellement, 66, is well known around the Globe newsroom for wearing his Bills cap to news meetings – not every day, but every so often. It can’t have been easy being a Bills fan in Boston all these years.’
How hurt is Bills’ Josh Allen: Can Buffalo get offense going vs. rival Patriots?
‘The Bills had 21 possessions in those two games and scored points on just five of them. Ken Dorsey seemed like public enemy number one in Buffalo and the scapegoat for the offense’s struggles in the past two weeks. Sean McDermott was asked on Monday if he’s considered taking play-calling duties away from the second-year player-caller.’
Bills’ Von Miller admits that he’s a Tom Brady superfan
‘Miller started to really like Brady while at a Kentucky Derby and saw Brady’s “smiley” personality and welcoming nature. Miller was also able to get Brady to do an interview with CBS Sports, something that he did not typically do.’
Bills can solve inconsistent offense by sticking with what’s proven to work
‘“Every time we touch the ball we want to score and that hasn’t happened the last couple weeks,” Allen said. “We know as an offense we’ve got to be better. It comes down to the guys on the field, myself included, on executing the plays that Coach Dorsey calls.”’

Buffalo Bills place Damien Harris on injured reserve
‘Harris joined New England as a third-round selection in the 2019 NFL Draft after leading Alabama in rushing for three straight seasons. Harris joined the Bills as a free agent after rushing for 2,094 yards and 20 touchdowns on 449 carries and catching 40 passes for 281 yards for the Patriots in the previous four seasons.’
Bills place Damien Harris on injured reserve with neck injury; DT Oliver ruled out against Patriots
‘The Bills (4-2) also ruled out defensive tackle Ed Oliver from playing at New England (1-5) on Sunday. Oliver has a toe injury and did not practice this week. Buffalo will be missing both starting defensive tackles with DaQuan Jones on injured reserve after tearing a pectoral muscle two weeks ago.’
Bills DT Ed Oliver ruled out due to toe injury; Damien Harris goes on IR
‘Tight end Quintin Morris (ankle) and running back Damien Harris (concussion and neck) are also out for Sunday’s game in Foxborough, with the Bills placing Harris on injured reserve later Friday. The team signed running back Ty Johnson from the practice squad to the active roster in a corresponding move. Harris, who was taken off the field in an ambulance in the second quarter of the Bills’ 14-9 win over the New York Giants last week, will not face the team he played for over the previous four seasons. Johnson joins second-year back James Cook and veteran Latavius Murray as the team’s only available running backs.’
