‘It’s troubling that in two of the Bills’ last six games, dating back to the playoff loss to the Bengals, the team has admitted to coming out flat. Yes, that does fall directly on the coaching staff. The players should be self motivated, but after installing the game plan, the coaching staff’s biggest responsibility is to make sure the team is ready to go. Too often recently, that hasn’t looked like the case. It’s also to second guess the Bills’ decision not to leave for London until after practice Thursday, meaning they arrived in London on Friday morning. The team conducted just a walk-through practice Friday. Did that contribute to not looking ready to play? The possibility shouldn’t be entirely ruled out.’
