‘Hamlin announced Wednesday that he will be a brand ambassador for the tech platform B Generous, which says its “Donate Now, Pay Later” service yields much higher average donations — more than $750, compared to the average online donation of $128 collected last year.’

Bills’ Josh Allen has fun with Aaron Rodgers’ win at Pebble Beach Pro-Am, says he sandbagged ‘the world’
‘On a recent episode of the Barstool Sports podcast “Pardon My Take,” Allen agreed that Rodgers “cheated” by getting a few too many strokes.’
Ray hoping to revive NFL career with Bills
‘Ray’s signing in Buffalo came as a bit of a surprise to many because it’s unusual for players at his age and with his injury history to land opportunities in the NFL. Though Ray was effective while on the field with Toronto, he missed large chunks of both his CFL seasons due to injuries.’
Bills WR Deonte Harty says last name change was a ‘no brainer’ to honor his stepdad
‘“This is a guy who played the father figure basically all my life. So for me it was a no brainer. He didn’t have any kids of his own, he came and took care of me and my two brothers and so he never got to have a child with his last name so for me it was just a no brainer. I want his name to continue because he’s done so much for me and my family.”’
Bills welcome NBA’s Jordan Nwora, Jack Armstrong to training camp
‘Jordan Nwora, the Indiana Pacers forward from Buffalo, was invited out of a hospitality tent with his family to watch practice from the sideline and greet players afterward. Jack Armstrong, the former Niagara University basketball coach now broadcasting for the Toronto Raptors, and his wife Dena, also were on-field guests, interacting with team staff, coaches and general manager Brandon Beane throughout practice.’
Bills: Few parking problems as new stadium construction continues
‘The Blue and Red Practice on Friday will be the first test of the new parking system. The Bills say the construction won’t have a big impact on parking because there is public transportation options and other expanded lot space.’
From rival to teammate: Damien Harris happy to be in Buffalo
‘”I know this is an incredible fanbase — the best fans in the NFL,” Harris said. “I’m glad to have them cheering for me instead of against me now.”‘

Bills DB’s coach praises Kaiir Elam’s defense in one area the most
‘“The thing that Kaiir really does best is play at the line of scrimmage,” Bulter said. “The more he’s able to get his hands on a wideout, the higher level of success that he has. So putting him in positions on our defense where he can do that and then emphasizing that while trying to develop some of his play in space, but realizing that, okay, this is what he does best in all those plays that he’s made so far this camp. Whether it be in one-on-one situations, which he’s done a nice job of in our individual one-on-ones or in team have been when he starts the line of scrimmage, can contest the wideout, he can minimize the space. And he’s done a nice job of that so far.”’
Observations: Bills’ defense gets better of offense on Day 6 of training camp
‘The offense worked primarily on third-and-long situations, so the defense had a big advantage. Still, the quarterbacks – Josh Allen, Kyle Allen and Matt Barkley – faced a good amount of pressure and were repeatedly forced to check down and watch defenders swarm to the football.’
Bills working on boosting low yards after catch total – again
‘The Bills ranked 26th last year in overall “YAC,” according to the sports data service STATS: 1,597 total yards after catch. Kansas City led the NFL with 2,797 YAC. The Bills’ total had nothing to do with Ken Dorsey taking over as offensive coordinator. The Bills were 32nd in YAC per completion with Brian Daboll as coordinator in 2021 and 23rd in 2020.’
Diminutive Deonte Harty is proof that size doesn’t have to matter in the NFL.
‘The next thing you have to say is that Harty might be undersized, but you can’t hit what you can’t catch and through the first week of training camp he has shown off game-breaking speed which offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey hopes to utilize far more than his coaching counterparts at New Orleans did when they had Harty for four seasons.’
Gabe Davis looks good, McDermott misses practice: Notes from Day 6 of Bills training camp
‘“Sean and I have worked together for over a decade and so obviously there’s a lot of experiences together, there’s a lot of dialogue that we’ve had over the years, trust that we built with each other,” Washington said. “At the end of the (2022) season, once we sat down and kind of talked about his new role and how I could best assist him, be a great resource for him, we talked about that and we decided that that was a move that we wanted to make and I was excited to do it.”’
Bills’ Damar Hamlin clears another hurdle: ‘It’s been a roller coaster of emotions’
‘“It’s a roller coaster of emotions,” Hamlin said. “I pretty much lost my life playing this sport, so to come back and do it all over again, it’s all over the place.”’
Bills defensive line dominates on Day 6 of camp; Damar Hamlin with wow play (Observations)
‘Ed Oliver was unblockable no matter who he was lined up against. He had one sack where guard Connor McGovern had no chance. It was as if Oliver was back at the defensive line huddle before anybody knew what happened. Edge rusher Leonard Floyd was firing off the edge like he was shot out of a cannon, giving third-year right tackle Spencer Brown fits.’
