‘“The plan is to practice,” Miller said about training camp. “Get some practice reps, so I can be ready to for Week 1.”’

Stefon Diggs not at mandatory Bills’ minicamp
‘”I’ve got his back no matter what. I’ve got no doubts that we’ll figure out what’s going on. I freaking love him. I can’t stress that enough. There are things that I can do better to help out with this process to get him back here and be the Buffalo Bill that he’s meant to be… He’s a special player and he makes our team better. There are certain things we can do to help that out and figure out different ways whether it’s getting him the ball or getting involved in the game plan. I know that you guys are going to hype this up and make it a big story. We’re not playing a game tomorrow. This is minicamp.”‘
Diggs not in attendance as mandatory Bills minicamp opens
‘Coach Sean McDermott declined to answer questions from reporters about Diggs’ absence but said he was “very concerned.”‘
‘He’s my guy’: Allen opens up about Diggs’ absence as Bills begin mandatory minicamp
‘”Internally, we’re working on some things — not football related,” Allen said. “Stef, he’s my guy. Excuse my language, I f—ing love him. He’s a brother of mine. This does not work, what we’re doing here, without him.”‘
Mixed signals: Stefon Diggs was at minicamp and then he wasn’t.
‘In his press conference, McDermott didn’t elaborate on the situation. The minicamp runs from June 13 through 15.’
Bills WR Stefon Diggs not in attendance at Mandatory Minicamp, per HC Sean McDermott
‘McDermott did not elaborate on if Diggs’ absence has been excused by the team, but did say he’s “very concerned” that the wide receiver is not participating in minicamp.’

‘When asked if it was concerning that Diggs was absent for practice, McDermott responded, “I’m very concerned.”‘
Von Miller: New Bills defensive end Leonard Floyd has ‘wrecking ball’ mentality
‘“Leonard Floyd is a high-energy guy,” Miller said. “He’s going to (give maximum effort) for plays. He’s a wrecking ball out there. When I heard about the possibility of Leonard Floyd joining the team, I was all on board for it.”’
Stefon Diggs has been a no-show so far. Will he attend Bills mandatory mini camp?
‘For the first time since Diggs joined the team in a 2020 trade from Minnesota, he skipped the entire offseason program. While true that attendance for the sessions prior to this week were voluntary, it was still somewhat surprising that the three-time Pro Bowler didn’t show up for anything, and it raised speculation about whether he’s unhappy with the team.’
Bills begin mandatory minicamp
‘As opposed to the previous eight weeks of workouts, this week’s sessions are not voluntary. All players under contract must attend or will be fined by the team. Those fines are $16,459 for missing one day, $32,920 for missing a second day and $49,374 a third day.’
In his element: At seventh pass-rush summit, Bills’ Von Miller still enjoys giving advice to fellow players
‘Among the themes covered were two-point stance vs. three-point stance, watching for pre-snap tells, setting up moves to see how the offensive tackle responds and most of all, maximizing the opportunities in a game.’
Von Miller injury update: ACL healed, starting football drills next as he eyes Bills opener
‘If the Bills go the cautious route, which they did with cornerback Tre’Davious White last year (out 12 months following his ACL injury), they could use the first four games to shelve Miller on injured reserve and play the long game, trading early season unavailability for late-season availability.’
McDermott ‘wears multiple hats’ in preparation to be head coach and defensive coordinator
‘“I don’t necessarily see a different person — he’s a head coach. Now he wears multiple hats, obviously,” said Al Holcomb, Bills senior defensive assistant. “But I see a coach who continues to grow and evolve with the game and is very collaborative and tries to keep everybody involved in a process daily.”’
‘I felt like I could ball:’ How Christian Benford went from sixth-round pick to Day 1 starter for Bills
‘That is an accurate description of Benford, and it explains why the second-year veteran is fully in the mix to be the starter at No. 2 cornerback opposite Tre’Davious White. Since being drafted in the sixth round last year out of Villanova, Benford has shown the NFL stage is not too big for him. That was apparent right from the very start of the 2022 season, when the Bills somewhat surprisingly started Benford in the season opener against the defending Super Bowl champion Los Angeles Rams – over first-round pick Kaiir Elam.’
Bills Mailbag: Projecting what the starting offensive line will look like
‘From left to right: Dion Dawkins, Connor McGovern, Mitch Morse, Ryan Bates, Spencer Brown. The only position I see remotely up for grabs is Bates’ job at right guard, because the Bills used a second-round draft pick on O’Cyrus Torrence. We know McDermott is traditionally slow to rely on rookies, however, so I’ll stick with Bates as the starter in Week 1. The more interesting competition might be for reserve spots. If the team keeps nine offensive linemen, including the six listed above, that leaves just three jobs open for a group that includes Ike Boettger, David Quessenberry, Nick Broeker, David Edwards, Greg Mancz, Tommy Doyle and Brandon Shell.’
