‘He also contributed on special teams with 83 snaps last season. The move makes sense, given the Bills are a little thin at linebacker right now, with Tremaine Edmunds headed to the Chicago Bears as a free agent.’

Bills re-sign LB A.J. Klein to one-year deal
‘Klein, 31, is entering his 11th year in the NFL and fourth year with the Bills. During his NFL career, he has played for the Carolina Panthers, New Orleans Saints, Ravens, Bears, and the Bills. In 144 career games, Klein has tallied four interceptions, one touchdown, 20 passes defended, eight forced fumbles, 15.5 sacks, 465 combined tackles, and 45 tackles for loss.’
NFL draft preview: Top-shelf talent appears to be lacking at safety
‘“Safety is arguably the weakest position group in this draft,” wrote Pro Football Focus analyst Sam Monson, who gave the position his lowest grade of D-plus.’
If the Bills look to draft a safety, don’t be surprised if it’s this aggressive tackler
‘So yes, 2023 will be fine, but the Bills will need to start planning for the future because it’s entirely possible that Hyde, Rapp (expiring contracts) and Poyer ($5.5 million cap savings if he is released after 2023) won’t be on the team in 2024.’
DeAndre Hopkins expresses interest in joining Buffalo Bills without saying a word
‘In an interview with Bryant McFadden of CBS Sports’ All Things Covered Podcast, DeAndre Hopkins expressed his interest in joining the Buffalo Bills without saying a word. McFadden asked Hopkins to use body language only to show which teams he would like to join if the Cardinals were to trade him. Based on Hopkins’ body language, the wide receiver has no interest in joining the New York Jets or New England Patriots, but is more than willing to join the Bills or Kansas City Chiefs.’
Bills Mailbag: Why are Stefon Diggs’ snap counts down from other elite wide receivers?
‘No. 1, Diggs will be 30 next season. The Bills have been mindful about managing the reps of veteran players, routinely giving them days off at practice. It’s entirely possible the team is limiting Diggs’ snap count in an effort to keep him fresh. The Bills are big believers in sports science and it’s shaped the work load they give to their players. It’s hard to argue with that approach, because he hasn’t missed a game in three years since coming to the Bills. The other possibility is there are certain play calls that the Bills feel other receivers run better. I agree it’s wise to limit the number of those, because Diggs is clearly one of their best players.’
NFL draft preview: Bijan Robinson highlights solid class of running backs
‘“My philosophy on kind of running backs is I don’t mind taking a running back in the first round, as long as your team is ready to win right now,” Jeremiah said.’
Buffalo Bills sign offensive lineman Kevin Jarvis to one-year contract
‘Jarvis, 23, entered the league in 2022 with the Detroit Lions as an undrafted free agent out of Michigan State. He signed with the Lions in May, but he was placed on injured reserve in August with an undisclosed injury, and he missed the 2022 season.’
NFL draft preview: Bills don’t need a quarterback, but several may go in first round
‘Gone are the days of uncertainty at quarterback for the Bills. Quarterback is still, of course, one of the most critical positions when it comes to the draft, but Bills fans can skip the tape of this class, unless they want a very early look at opponents.’
Former Michigan State, Detroit Lions OL signs with Buffalo Bills
‘Jarvis, 6-foot-6 and 325 pounds, appeared in 44 career games and made 39 starts – 25 at right guard, three at left tackle and 11 at right tackle – over five seasons at Michigan State while showing his versatility. He battled injuries during his college career and declared for the NFL draft following the 2021 season, forgoing his final year of eligibility.’
Bills sign offensive lineman Kevin Jarvis to one-year contract
‘Jarvis entered the NFL in 2022 as an undrafted free agent out of Michigan State University, signing with the Detroit Lions. Jarvis was waived by the Lions in August of 2022.’
Bills sign OL Kevin Jarvis to one-year deal
‘Jarvis, 23, was an undrafted free agent in the 2022 NFL Draft and initially signed with the Detroit Lions last May. He was placed on injured reserve with an undisclosed injury and was let go by the Lions prior to the 2022-23 season.’
2023 Mock Draft Watch 8.0
‘The alarm bells rang after Branch ran an underwhelming 4.58-second 40-yard dash at the NFL Scouting Combine. But the Bills see a stud on tape who makes plays from multiple positions. He’s in line to fortify what could be the last run of “The Hyde and Poyer Show” in Buffalo.’
NFL draft preview: Cornerback remains a high-priority position for all NFL teams
‘Last season, 12 cornerbacks were drafted in the first three rounds, including Defensive Rookie of the Year Sauce Gardner, who was taken by the New York Jets. That shows the importance of the position in a pass-happy league.’
Buffalo Bills 7-round mock draft: GM pulls off a trade, attempts to land multiple weapons
‘Which players truly make sense for the Bills at No. 27? Wright is gone, Smith-Njigba is off the board, and all of the top-tier pass rushers are gone? As the pick approaches, it’s time to start wondering if the best move might be to trade back.’
