‘“Just for your example, we have Josh Allen in our division,” McDaniel said. “You better have good corners. You think that way. You have to be ready and prepared to deal with those (star players). But you’re also motivated by just creating your best team against all opponents, all structures of offense and defense to be the best version of yourself.”’

Mock draft: Bills sweat it out, but land a receiver at No. 27 with starting potential
‘Addison is slightly undersized at 5-11, 173 pounds, but the Bills believe in their strength and conditioning program, so it wouldn’t be a surprise if they felt like they could help him add size while not sacrificing the short-area quickness that’s key to getting open in the NFL. Addison isn’t strictly slot receiver, having the versatility to play inside and outside. That’s something the Bills value. Addison did not run well at the combine. His time of 4.49 seconds in the 40-yard dash might very well hurt his draft stock, but that could end up being a benefit to the Bills. Beane has always said the bulk of his scouting process comes from game tape, and Addison delivered in that regard. He was a first-team All-Pac 12 Conference pick after finishing with 59 catches for 875 yards and eight touchdowns in 2022, despite missing three games because of injury. Jeremiah has him ranked as the No. 9 prospect in the entire class. It’s not hard to envision Addison contributing in three-receiver sets very early in his Bills career.’
Buffalo Bills re-sign linebacker A.J. Klein to one-year deal
‘Klein played six games for the Bills last season, with one start, in his second stint with Buffalo. He entered the league with the Carolina Panthers, who took him in the fifth round of the 2013 draft. There, he overlapped with Brandon Beane and Sean McDermott, who would eventually bring him to Buffalo in 2020.’

Another Voice: Sustainable development around new Bills stadium complex will benefit entire county
‘The benefits of inclusive and diverse contracting, both in the construction and operation of developments near the stadium, will be felt across our community. So, if a hotel, entertainment complex or other development is built on current public land to take advantage of the economic opportunities of a new stadium, it makes sense that the benefits from that development, jobs, vendor opportunities, contractor hiring and revenues should be felt across the region, too.’
This unanimous first-team All-American could be what the Bills need with first round pick
‘Sanders spent most of his first year playing on special teams and then his second season as a backup outside linebacker as a wrist injury slowed his progress, so he looked around for a new home where not only could he play, but he could do so as an inside linebacker.’
Mock Draft Monday 8.0: Buffalo Bills have appealing options fall to them in latest roundup
‘Buffalo Bills fans are in for a long night as they wait for the Bills to get on the clock with the 27th overall pick in the first round, but the Bills Mafia will be watching to see how the board falls leading up to the team’s first selection of the evening. A run on quarterbacks or another position, for instance, could push a premier player down to Buffalo.’
Bills bring back LB Klein on one-year deal Buffalo brings back veteran linebacker Klein on one-year deal
‘Klein was signed by the Bills in 2020 and spent two full seasons in Buffalo before being released by the team last offseason. The veteran LB spent time with the Baltimore Ravens and Chicago Bears before finishing the 2022 season in Buffalo. With former Bills LB Tremaine Edmunds signing with the Bears in free agency, Klein will join fellow Bills LBs Tyrel Dodson and Terrell Bernard as a candidate to help fill the void left by the former first-round pick’s departure. Last season, when starting in place of an injured Edmunds, Klein recorded nine tackles during a Thanksgiving Day win over the Detroit Lions.’
Sabato: There’s plenty of reason for Buffalo sports fans to be optimistic

Buffalo Bills re-sign linebacker A.J. Klein
‘Klein spent two seasons with the Bills in 2020 and 2021. After leaving in free agency prior to last season, Klein re-joined the Bills in November after stints with the Bears and Ravens. Nyheim Hines to become first Buffalo Bill in history to wear No. 0
‘Starting this season in the NFL, players will be allowed to wear zero thanks to a rule change back in March. It comes after a 2021 resolution that widened the range of numbers players at particular positions are allowed to wear.’
Bills re-sign LB Klein to 1-year deal
‘He also contributed on special teams with 83 snaps last season. The move makes sense, given the Bills are a little thin at linebacker right now, with Tremaine Edmunds headed to the Chicago Bears as a free agent.’
