‘“Rain or shine, it doesn’t matter when you have Josh Allen on your team, you have a chance,” said Matthew Butters from St. Catharine, Ontario. “So come what may. Weather? Look up in the air, it doesn’t matter. Josh Patrick Allen can take you to the promise land that’s all that matters.”’

‘Linebackers Matt Milano and Tremaine Edmunds each had five tackles with three solo tackles in the defensive effort.’
Carucci Take 2: Bills’ defense takes control during rematch win vs. Jets
‘Eventually, the Bills took control of the line of scrimmage in this one, something the Jets did throughout the teams’ previous meeting. Buffalo’s defensive front increasingly won its battle against the Jets’ offensive line, generating pressure and sacking Mike White (who temporarily left the game with injured ribs and left the stadium in an ambulance afterwards to address possible internal injuries) and keeping running lanes to a minimum.’
Bills hang on against Jets, win fourth straight to stay in first place
‘Josh Allen had a slow start, but eventually threw for a touchdown and ran for another to lead the Bills to victory. He finished with 16 completions on 27 attempts for 147 yards. The Bills won the turnover battle, forcing two fumbles and never turning the ball over.’
Super Bowl needs maybe on display as Bills top Jets
‘This is a bit of a brand-new world for the Bills offense. They haven’t been dominating teams for weeks now. Granted, the last couple against the Jets and Patriots are elite defenses that no one really dominates. It’s more than just the opponents for Buffalo. Josh Allen led the Bills in rushing for the 8th time in the 13 games. Knox, Isaiah McKenzie and Gabe Davis don’t get open consistently enough and are good for a handful of frustrating drops weekly. Devin Singletary can’t even be counted on to catch a bleeping swing pass these days.’
Bills defensive line steps up big yet again without Von Miller
‘“I been telling them boys, they drafted y’all for a reason,” said Shaq Lawson, referring to Greg Rousseau, A.J. Epenesa, and Boogie Basham. “Y’all got drafted first, second round for a reason. They drafted them and they brought me back for a reason. So I feel like we can do it. And that’s why I just tell them boys, just have faith, continue to have faith.”’
Bills shut down Jets, retain top spot in AFC standings
‘Still, it wasn’t exactly an easy win, and things started off at a snail’s pace.’
Game Recap: Bills beat Jets 20-12, continue to hold best record in AFC East
‘The Bills defense fought hard to ensure the Jets didn’t convert the safety into anything more than 2 points. At the Buffalo 28 yard line, Bills defenders Taron Johnson and Damar Hamlin forced the Jets running back to drop the ball, then all-star linebacker Matt Milano scooped it up for a fumble recovery.’
Bills edge Jets 20-12 in rematch behind key plays from the defense | Recap, Highlights and Stats
‘The defense had contributions from all over the field, combining for four sacks, eight QB hits, seven pass breakups and two fumble recoveries. It was also the second week in a row Buffalo’s D held their opponent to just one touchdown as the Bills improved to 10-3 on the season and they remain atop the AFC East with four weeks to play.’
Top 3 things we learned from Bills vs. Jets | Week 14
‘On a day when the offense was out of sync for much of the first half, Buffalo’s defense had the game on lock down. A good number of the playmaking answers were provided by Greg Rousseau and Matt Milano and the two delivered a pair of plays back-to-back that turned the tide of the game.’
Bills draw positive reviews following fourth consecutive win
‘Check out what current players, former NFL stars, and national analysts had to say about Buffalo’s second divisional win.’
‘Refreshing Reset’: Joe Brady embracing opportunity to coach Bills quarterbacks
‘“I just took it as an opportunity of, ‘Hey, how I can better myself?’ ” Brady said during an interview with The Buffalo News. “I didn’t wake up and was woe-is-me. It wasn’t pointing fingers, it was a point-the-thumb (at myself) and be like, ‘Regardless of anything, I didn’t get the job done.’ I wasn’t sitting there worrying about the next job. It was, ‘If I do get this opportunity again as a coordinator, what would I do differently? How would I change things?’ It was that as opposed to, ‘I need to call people and I need a job.’”’
Scouting Report: Bills’ running game has been picking up steam lately
‘Prediction: Bills 30, Jets 20.’
Bills Mailbag: How Von Miller’s contract practically guarantees he’ll be in Buffalo at least two more years
‘Miller’s six-year contract contains a maximum possible value of $120 million. It includes $45 million fully guaranteed at signing – his $18.525 million signing bonus; his base salaries in 2022 and 2023 of $1.12 million and $1.3 million, respectively; his 2023 roster bonus of $13.345 million; and $10.71 million of his 2024 base salary. Miller’s cap hit next season is scheduled to be $18.705 million. Once next regular season starts, Miller will count against the salary cap, just like all players on the active roster, injured reserve and practice squad do. The remainder of Miller’s 2024 base salary guarantees in March 2024. That’s why Miller’s contract is best viewed as “three years, then we’ll see.” There is no guaranteed money on his deal starting with the 2025 season.’
Voice of the Fan: No longer Miller Time, but still could be the Bills’ time
‘But the Bills have still lost only three games by eight total points, each of which came down to the end, and they easily coulda, shoulda won. They have played four at home versus eight on the road (counting the extra Detroit game) and are now once again the AFC top seed, although it is no longer Miller Time.’
