SkyCam breaking forces delay in Bills vs Jets

‘The game between the Bills and the New York Jets on Sunday was delayed for several minutes by the CBS SkyCam, attached to a wire that goes across the width of the stadium, being too low and forcing a delay in the game for player safety reasons. Broadcasters said a cord that’s part of the contraption broke.’

‘Where have the playmakers gone? Right now, Stefon Diggs is the only player who can get open and make a play for Josh Allen on a consistent basis. Where is Gabe Davis? In five games, he’s only got 11 catches; four are for TDs, so he’s been very boom or bust this season and it’s been a lot more of the latter. Where is Isaiah McKenzie? He’s got five catches for 29 yards in the last three games. How about Dawson Knox? In five games, he’s averaging 3 catches and 32 yards per contest. This trio has got to do much better if the offense is going to get out of its slump.’

Coach Robert Saleh has them believing in themselves, and they bounced back from a disappointing home loss to the Patriots with a relentless physical assault on the Bills and QB Josh Allen. Allen may have unwittingly helped young qb Zach Wilson, by telling him during the week he shouldn’t be discouraged about a 3 interception game against the Pats. Maybe next week Wilson should text Allen to shake it off. Wilson played within himself and is far from awful, as many fans and media labeled him after last week.’
