‘“Everyone’s got their own skill set, and we have to figure out how to get them on the field,” said fifth-year signal caller. “There’s only one ball to go around, and only five skill position guys can be on the field at a time.”’

Sullivan: Stefon Diggs has one goal – lift the Bills to the Super Bowl
‘“Setting goals, I feel like if you fall underneath them, you didn’t do good enough, and I don’t live in that world. I live in the world where my preparation is going to carry me over. That’s where I get my confidence from. I don’t live in a world of setting goals. I’ve got some team goals, that’s for damn sure. But individual? I’ll be all right.”’
Gabe Davis was all business this summer, getting ready for a bigger role this season
‘“Ever since I came into the league that’s the mindset I always had, is just no matter what position I’m in be able to execute at a high level and now I’ll have a little bit more opportunity to do that and I feel like it’s gonna be a fun and good year for all of us. I feel like we’ve got the right pieces of the puzzle to do what we wanna do this year and when it comes to just us as a team, as a whole it’s gonna be real special,” Davis said after practice on Wednesday.’
‘Turkey Burger Time’ at St. John Fisher University during Bills training camp
‘On Wednesday, sous chef Fidel Torres produced a turkey burger – the same one St. John Fisher students enjoy when they’re on campus – topped with lettuce, tomatoes, and jalapeños (Allen’s favorite topping). While there’s nothing particularly complicated about it, he and Kraft agree the key is sourcing good food.’

Buffalo Bills training camp by the day
‘”We want to play fast with speed and that’s finishing runs, getting the ball in their hands, and being explosive and making plays with the ball in their hands. We want to be physical, so that’s finishing runs, lowering your pad level, splitting defenders, trying to get that extra yard or two. And then we want to be disciplined about how we do things with our assignments and being in the right spots and having a great ball location to be able to allow those guys to do that,” said Dorsey.’

Bills training camp observations Day 3: Defensive line causes widespread disruption
‘The one-on-one drills between the offensive and defensive lines didn’t feature the game-line contact that happens on the line of scrimmage. Nevertheless, Phillips showed his quickness in beating Ford. Dion Dawkins handled Epenesa twice. Mitch Morse held his own twice. Doyle and David Quessenberry held off Lawson and Greg Rousseau, respectively.’
He met the fight of his life head on. Now he’s looking to extend his career with the Bills
‘“Everything happens so fast, you kind of just take it one day at a time,” he said. “And you just fight like hell; you just do what you got to do, you do what the doctors tell you, you believe that you’re in the right hands and you’ve got the right care and you just go. I don’t know if I ever fully accepted it, I just was like, ‘Hey, this is my fight today and this is what you’ve got to do.’”’
Bills’ punters face off in camp on day 3, Josh Allen frustrated, James Cook electric (Observations)
‘Haack had eight punts and Araiza had seven in a live setting with returners. The first came off the foot of Haack, who showcased the one part of his game that is significantly better than the rookie’s: Hang time. Haack put on high in the air that had decent distance. Marquez Stevenson struggled to track it and muffed it when it landed. Haack boomed about a 60-yarder before yielding the field to Araiza.’
Who is Jordan Simmons? Bills add guard with Rodger Saffold on NFI list
‘Simmons was a five-star recruit entering USC, but injuries prevented Simmons from showing what he could do. The Bills’ newest OL was redshirted as a freshman after having knee surgery prior to the season. He was on the field for seven games as a reserve lineman the next year before a knee injury ended his 2013 campaign. He suffered a knee injury the following season as which sidelined him for the remainder of the year. He would also sprain his knee in 2015 fall camp with USC. In the NFL, Simmons suffered a knee injury in 2018 late in the season with the Seahawks which landed him on the injured reserve.’
