‘Buffalo Bills’ safety Micah Hyde, who hosted the event, tweeted early Sunday morning that the event was still on and a portion of the game proceeds, including 100% of the silent auction earnings — which all typically benefit Hyde’s IMagINe for Youth Foundation — would go to the victims’ families.’

NFL Broadcasting VP Onnie Bose on selecting Bills as Rams’ Kickoff Game opponent
‘”One of the first things we looked at was, where are we going to play?” Bose said during a conference call with reporters Friday alongside fellow NFL Broadcasting Vice President Mike North. “You’re always looking at, ‘Where’s Aaron Rodgers? Tom Brady? The Dallas Cowboys?’ And this year, it’s ‘Where’s Joe Burrow, where’s Josh Allen gonna play? And very much it was just, your lasting memories of Josh Allen were some of the most incredible quarterback play and it just felt right and made a lot of sense, one, to just put him right back on that spotlight against the Super Bowl champions, and also just for the mix of the rest of the weekend and where we ended up slotting the Sunday night game, the Monday night game, the two doubleheader games. All of those things are interconnected. But it was a strong narrative that we wanted to put out there front and center.”‘
Bills Mailbag: How much change should be expected with Ken Dorsey at offensive coordinator?
‘I still expect Allen and Dorsey to spend plenty of time together, but to your point, Brian, it might not be quite as much as last season. The addition of Joe Brady as the quarterbacks coach is one of the more intriguing moves of the offseason. Brady and Allen haven’t had all that much time to work together, but the quarterback has spoken glowingly about his new position coach to this point. Brady, who is just 32 years old, has had an interesting career.’

One day at a time. He hasn’t even punted yet at all, so let’s just hope he gets out there and gets his shoes tied right, which I’m sure he will, and has a good first practice here.”’
Buffalo Bills rookie minicamp 2022 observations: Kaiir Elam in lock down mode in first practice
‘Whenever Elam and Shakir got matched up with one another during practice, everybody was watching that side of the field. On one particular play during 11-on-11, tryout quarterback Breylin Smith rolled to his right and immediately eyed down the matchup. Shakir turned on the jets and found himself locked up one on one with Elam, who wouldn’t relent. The two were tied up the whole route and Smith eventually was forced to scramble to his right as Shakir couldn’t separate.’
