‘Cook’s greatest asset, as he told reporters on a Zoom call, is “versatility.” He can be as effective catching the ball as he is running it, an element that would figure to provide a bit more explosiveness to what already is one of the best offenses in the NFL.’

‘Running back was a position the Bills were rumored to be targeting in this year’s draft. Even with Devin Singletary breaking out for a few solid games during the Bills postseason run, he has far from locked down the role as top back in Buffalo. Cook will likely compete for that job, and will ultimately give Josh Allen a pass-catching back.’

‘The 6’1″ Bernard was a tackle machine with Baylor, finishing his career with over 300 tackles and 12 sacks.’

And, you know, I’m just excited for the next up next journey in my life.”‘

Five things we learned from day two of the NFL Draft
‘”We had several guys in that area that we liked at positions of need,” Beane told the media. “So, we just said let’s add a few picks here to kind of just slide down, see who’s still there, and a couple of other people called. … Knowing I didn’t have a fourth, trying to add some assets, just to see how tomorrow falls, you never know how your board is going to look. Wish we had the fourth, we don’t, but we got some late ones, and we’ll see how it plays out.”‘
