Opinions mixed on using huge amount of taxpayer money on new Bills stadium
‘”Well I think when it comes to public subsidies professional and sports teams, especially with two very wealthy owners, it becomes hard for taxpayers to see the dollars of being spent on that particular franchise, if you will,” he said. “There are very competitive offers being made by other states that see the value of having a professional sports branch eyes come to their state. And so while I wish that we could wave a magic wand and have the owners just pair their own pockets to build a stadium, it’s not going to happen. We have to close the deal. We have to keep the Bills in Western New York.”‘

‘“I think like, dining options would be a huge play. I know from my personal experience going to Sabres games and bills games, I’m very underwhelmed by the food and so like, I always try to eat beforehand when I go just ‘cause I don’t want to eat there because the food’s kind of not that good,” said Bills fan, George Narby.’
