’25. Buffalo Bills. Andrew Booth Jr., CB, Clemson. Beane’s goal in free agency is to fill as many holes on his roster as possible, leaving him open to drafting the best player available. So far, he’s fallen short in that pursuit this offseason. With Wallace leaving for Pittsburgh, the Bills have a sizable hole in their projected defensive lineup. The same might be true at guard, depending on what the Bills decide to do about Ryan Bates’ offer sheet with the Bears. Drafting for need isn’t ideal, but it’s not as if this is a huge reach. Booth is ESPN’s No. 30-ranked prospect, while CBS Sports has him ranked at No. 16. Jeremiah isn’t quite as high on him, ranking him No. 31 on his top-50 list.’

Bills Mailbag: What does Miami’s trade for Tyreek Hill mean for Buffalo’s 2022 season?
‘Hill’s acquisition by the Dolphins shows Miami is doing everything possible to give quarterback Tua Tagovailoa the best chance to be successful. Coupled with the other additions Miami has made, including signing left tackle Terron Armstead, the Dolphins are playoff contenders. As such, the AFC East shouldn’t be viewed as a given for the Bills. I’d still consider Buffalo to be the divisional favorites, however, and the flip side to the trade of Hill, as Sam points out, is that it weakens the Chiefs on paper. We’ll see how Kansas City uses the draft capital they acquired in exchange for Hill, but it’s very difficult to see them acquiring a wide receiver who has the same type of game-breaking potential. Hill is nearly unmatched in that regard. If you (understandably) consider the Chiefs to be the Bills’ biggest roadblock to the Super Bowl, the trade of Hill should be viewed as a good thing.’
Downstate lawmakers make noise over Bills stadium, but ‘you pick your battles’
‘”I would not vote for this,” said State Sen. Liz Krueger, D-Manhattan, chairwoman of the powerful Finance Committee, who emphasizes she has not seen any final deal. “I don’t believe, personally, that taxpayer money should provide for stadium ownership by private entities who have enough money to take care of it themselves.”‘
Newly signed Bills tight end O.J. Howard looking forward to a Garbage Plate in Rochester
‘“I was like, ‘What is this whole bunch of food?’ It looked like a mess,” he said. “But when I bit into it and ate it, it was the best thing I ever had. And they were like, ‘This is late-night food. Don’t make it a consistent habit.’ I said, ‘I won’t do that,’ but I gotta try one again. … I want to go get the real deal up in Rochester. So, I’m looking forward to training camp and doing that.”’
Stefon Diggs to Cowboys? Bills’ Josh Allen lets Trevon Diggs know his dream will have to wait
‘Diggs has two years left on the five-year, $72 million deal the Bills acquired when they traded for the receiver. There is no question that Diggs is underpaid compared to the contracts that Adams and Hill just received from their new teams, but he has remained quiet on the topic while focusing on helping Buffalo get over the hump.’
How the seismic AFC quarterback shuffle will impact the Bills in 2022
‘It’s to the point where you wonder if every team is going to average over 30 points a game this year. You’ve got Josh Allen, Patrick Mahomes, Joe Burrow, Justin Herbert, Russell Wilson, Deshaun Watson and Lamar Jackson among the players set to battle for the AFC crown for years to come.’
