They all worked together in Carolina, with Shula serving as the Panthers’ quarterbacks coach in 2011-12 and then the offensive coordinator from 2013-17. Dorsey worked as Shula’s quarterbacks coach with the Panthers from 2013-17. During that time, Carolina quarterback Cam Newton was named to two Pro Bowls and won NFL MVP in 2015, the same year the Panthers advanced to the Super Bowl.’
