‘The offensive performance by the Bills in Week 18 was a series of fits and starts, but Stefon Diggs was completely dialed in. Buffalo’s top wideout was busy early in Sunday’s regular season finale against the Jets, logging eight receptions in the first half alone on a night where he finished with nine receptions for 81 yards and a touchdown.’

Bills to host Patriots on Super Wild Card weekend
‘Buffalo clinched a second straight division title and the No. 3 seed in the AFC with a 27-10 win over the New York Jets on Sunday. New England fell to No. 6 with a 33-24 loss to Miami and Las Vegas’ victory over the Los Angeles Chargers.’
Bills’ opponents for 2022 finalized
‘With the 17th game that was added last season, it will add an extra road game to the Bills schedule. Next season, the AFC East will play one team the NFC West and the Bills will play the Rams.’
The Rock: Mitch Morse has been a constant on Bills’ constantly shuffling offensive line
‘“He’s been a really, really good leader for us,” offensive coordinator Brian Daboll said of Morse. “He’s a very consistent individual. He’s routine oriented. He is a great person – which I think that is a testament to the type of people we bring in the building. But I’d say playing that spot of center or quarterback or middle linebacker, you’re looking the guys in the face and you’re making the calls on a play-in, play-out basis, I think he has a lot of confidence in what we’re doing. I certainly know that we have a lot of confidence in him.”‘
Scouting Report: Bills’ ground game will have a chance to keep rolling against Jets
‘Prediction: Bills 30, Jets 17.’
Bills Mailbag: How much should Josh Allen factor into the Bills’ stadium plans?
‘I’ll start by saying I’m in favor of a dome, especially if public money is being used (which it will be). It would open up the stadium to be used for more than just football games and the rare outdoor concert. With that said, the cost factor is significant, by all accounts, and we should keep in mind that Allen is four years into his career. Even if he plays another 12 years, which might be optimistic, the new facility will far outlast the quarterback. Now, the argument can be made that a dome would benefit whoever quarterbacks the team, and that would be true, but it’s not like this decision is being made on Allen’s skillset or preference alone. Ultimately, like everything else, this looks like it will come down to a financial decision. If the extra cost for a dome or retractable roof doesn’t sit well with the Pegula family, then it’s not going to happen, because it’s not like the state will say, “here’s an extra billion, toss a roof on, would you?” That’s more than a minor factor.’
Keys to the game and Sal’s prediction for Buffalo Bills vs New York Jets
‘Sal’s prediction: Buffalo Bills 28, New York Jets 13.’
How late December meeting led Bills’ Greg Rousseau to ‘breakthrough game’
‘Bills defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier, who noticed the dip in Rousseau’s play, sat down with Rousseau, fellow rookie Carlos Basham and second-year defensive end A.J. Epenesa right after Christmas. He wanted to help all three of them navigate through the difficulties of the NFL.’
Jets HC praises Bills’ Avatar on defense, compares him to first-ballot Hall of Famer
‘“It’s interesting, Avatar, that’s Tremaine, he’s like a unicorn in the linebacker world,” said Saleh. “I mean the guy is six-foot five, he’s got ridiculous length, speed, range, knockback, he’s got all of it. There isn’t anything he doesn’t have. So, he is special in every sense of the imagination.”’
Jets ‘don’t have anything to lose’ vs. Bills, hope to play spoiler (Things to watch)
‘New York’s defense also enters the game with a bad taste in their mouths. In addition to allowing over 40 points in their previous matchup, defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich seemed a bit upset over the fact that the Bills were throwing the ball deep late in a game that had already been determined.’
Buffalo Bills vs. New York Jets 2021 preview with odds, predictions for Week 18
‘The Jets get back Quinnen Williams this week, which will help against a Bills offense that ranks 5th in the NFL. Allen seems locked in with a chance to capture the team’s second division title in as many years. The Bills should be able to confuse Wilson and create some turnovers. Jets rush defense is among the worst in the league and it’s allowing the most points per game in the league at just under 30. Expect the Bills to be able to run, Allen to pick apart New York’s secondary, and the Bills to win comfortably. A little rain in the forecast could limit the Bills offense, but that shouldn’t be much of a problem.’

Jets release Shaq Lawson: How Bills can get him back and why they should do it
‘Lawson knows Buffalo’s defensive system. He played for Sean McDermott and Leslie Frazier for three seasons and had a career-best 6.5 sacks back in 2019 before signing the big deal with Miami. In the two seasons since, Lawson has only managed to accumulate five total sacks.’
Matt Ryan’s taunting penalty vs. Bills proves costly on and off field
‘It turns out that Ryan’s taunt was not just costly on the field, but also off the field. On Saturday, NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero announced that the league fined Ryan $10,300 for his taunt.’
Five takes: Bills host jets with AFC East title hanging in the balance
‘The Jets have been abysmal under first-year head coach Robert Saleh, ranking last in the NFL in points allowed (29.8 ppg) and 25th in the league in points scored (18.8 ppg).’
