‘The play of Greg Rousseau and Spencer Brown. It’s surprising they’re both getting so much playing time and playing so well considering they both sat out the 2020 college seasons.’

Alan Pergament: The Bills will get a fortune in the next TV contract. That will have no effect on stadium talks
‘The team also gets about 40% of the revenue from a pool of all away games shared by teams in the league. The Bills have to contribute a certain amount of home game revenue or the franchise could get a discounted amount of away game revenue. That means the Bills need to charge a certain average ticket price, or they will be thrown for a loss of away game revenue.’
Bills open as big favorite over Dolphins, Jets’ Zach Wilson may miss first Buffalo game (AFC East Roundup)
‘The Dolphins entered 2021 with playoff aspirations after going 10-6 one season ago, but it seems like a long shot after falling to 1-6. Head coach Brian Flores may be on the hot seat while the Dolphins should be looking to sell assets ahead of the 2021 trade deadline.’
Who else can circle the wagons? Which AFC teams are a threat to the Buffalo Bills
‘With their dominant run game, Tennessee can control the clock and limit possessions and time for Josh Allen and the Bills offense.’
Report: Bills TE Dawson Knox expected out about three weeks
‘”Turned out there was actually another fracture in there that they didn’t see on the X-ray until they opened him up to get the surgery done,” Garafolo said. “So it’s about three weeks. I’d say he misses Miami and Jacksonville, but he’s back for the Jets, but that timeline is fluid. But again, not expected to be a long-term thing.”‘
Emmanuel Sanders brings perspective to fast start with Bills
‘“It starts at the quarterback position,” Sanders said of the Bills’ offense. “We’ve got a talented quarterback. We’ve got a guy who’s smart, a guy with a big arm, a guy who can extend plays, a guy that obviously, if you’re a defensive coordinator, you’ve got to scheme it up. I think we’ve got a great offensive coordinator. He knows how to dial it up. Him and Josh have great chemistry.”’
Bills Mailbag: What might Brandon Beane do at the upcoming trade deadline?
‘General Manager Brandon Beane has not been shy about making trades if he feels it will improve his roster. With that in mind, it’s certainly possible Beane could be active at the trade deadline, which this year comes Nov. 2. Of course, any move has to fit under the salary cap, which could be an issue. As of Saturday morning, the Bills had just a little more than $4 million in cap space, according to records kept by the NFL Players’ Association. The Bills could free up space by sending a player out in a trade, but given that this team has eyes on making a Super Bowl run, it doesn’t seem likely Beane would be interested in subtracting from the roster. With just one game to play before the deadline because of the bye in Week 7, the Bills have no obvious holes on the roster that need to be filled. Depth at outside cornerback continues to look less than ideal to me, but it’s not a drastic need. If I had to bet one way or the other, I’d wager the Bills stand pat, which is true for most of the league at the deadline, anyway.’
Sean Kirst: A young doctor’s prescription: Your view on the stadium matters
‘“So many times we’re so quick to decide on something in Buffalo because we’re afraid of what we’ll lose,” Miller said. “If we’re going to spend $1 billion or more on a stadium, then I think we need to really think hard about how it can help the community long-term, how it affects our neighbors, how it might be done in a way that breaks down so many of the boundaries in this community.”’
Bills, Sabres ‘mistakenly’ donate items to Tonawanda GOP candidate
‘Brown clearly identified himself and the reason for his request when he filled out online forms asking the organizations to contribute auction prizes for a pair of campaign fundraisers, according to interviews and election records.’
NFL Trade Deadline 2021: Miles Sanders, Andrew Norwell among 10 Buffalo Bills trade targets
‘The running back position is also an area to monitor. Yes, Zack Moss and Devin Singletary have had their moments as the Bills’ 1-2 punch at the position and the team is still likely to lean more on the passing game for the duration of the schedule, but that doesn’t mean that the Bills shouldn’t at least look at who is out there and available.’
What fans need to know about the Bills at the 2021 bye week
‘Heading into Week 7, the Bills have the number one ranked scoring defense (16.3 PPG allowed) and the number two ranked scoring offense (33.8 PPG). The Bills also have the highest turnover differential at plus-11. The defense has 16 takeaways with the offense only having five turnovers.’
Defenses showing Josh Allen & Co. more respect than ever
‘Allen has been blitzed at a drastically reduced rate this year. Opponents have sent five or more pass rushers at him on just 12.9% of his dropbacks, according to Buffalo News charts.’
Termini: Bills stadium can work successfully in downtown Buffalo
‘”This is the time to do it. We always think small, instead of thinking big. Now we have an opportunity, and we’re cheaping out,” Termini said. “This would be a game-changer for downtown.”‘
Voice of the Fan: Heartbreakers that don’t break Bills fans’ hearts anymore
‘The Bills are still the most complete team in the NFL regardless of the one foot loss. The Bills’ offense can only be stopped by the Bills’ offense.’
Bills lease could be finalized before the new year, according to Erie Co. Executive
‘The negotiations have been going on for months but Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarz revealed that the goal is to reach an agreement on a Bills lease in the next ten weeks. “I think we all want to get the deal done and we’d like to get a deal done by the end of the year, it’s as simple as that. the end of the year is not that far away haha, two and a half months, so for us, the goal is to get a deal done that’s fair for all.”’
