‘Prior to gameday, the county said that vaccinated attendees could take their masks off outside in the stands, but inside, they were supposed to be worn. That included the bathrooms and concourses.’

‘So, if you have not been vaccinated yet, when do you need to get your first shot by to ensure you’ll be fully vaccinated by the deadline? Here’s a look at the cutoff dates for each vaccine.’
Bills DC Leslie Frazier on what changes need to be made to Buffalo’s defense
‘Here’s what Bills defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier had to say about his evaluation of Buffalo’s performance and what the Bills can improve upon for Week Two.’
Highmark Stadium and Key Bank Arena: No entry unless fully vaccinated
‘After Oct. 31, all guests ages 12 and up must be fully vaccinated. Those under 12 are required to wear masks. No masks are required for those fully vaccinated. There is no test-out option.’
Vaccine mandate for Highmark Stadium and KeyBank Center
‘County leaders say despite a mask mandate in indoor portions of the stadium, during Sunday’s game against the Steelers, they observed fewer than half of fans wearing masks.’
Bills announce stadium vaccination policy in compliance with ECDOH directive
‘For the games on September 26 and October 3, fans will be permitted to enter with one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine. Beginning with the October 31 game, guests must be fully vaccinated for entry. Guests are considered fully vaccinated two weeks after their second dose in a two-dose series, such as the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines, or two weeks after a single-dose vaccine, such as Johnson & Johnson’s vaccine.’
Sean McDermott announced Gabriel Davis will miss Wednesday’s practice | Bills Today
‘Sean McDermott addressed the media Wednesday afternoon in advance of this week’s game in Miami. McDermott announced that DE Mario Addison and WR Cole Beasley will have veteran rest days. He said that WR Gabriel Davis will not practice with a lower body injury. Star Lotulelei (calf), WR Isaiah McKenzie and LB Matt Milano will be limited according to the head coach.’
Analysis: Usually productive empty sets shot blanks for Bills vs. Steelers
‘The problem vs. Pittsburgh was the Steelers’ front four beat the Bills’ front five in empty sets too often. Edge rushers T.J. Watt, Melvin Ingram and Alex Highsmith, along with defensive tackle Cameron Heyward, all played big.’
Upon Further Review: Bills now know what it’s like to play under the weight of lofty expectations
‘“We understand we’re a good football team and we’re a better football team than what we showed today,” Poyer said. “The best thing that we can do is learn from our mistakes today and continue to grow as a football team. We’ve got a lot of football left in the season. This is Week 1. I don’t want to go into it.’
What we learned from snap counts in Bills’ Week 1 loss, game ball and more
‘“You see the start of a good relationship, I think,” coach Sean McDermott said of Sanders working with quarterback Josh Allen. “Until you play games, you’re never really sure what you have. Having their first game under their belts now, I think they’ll both learn from that and the communication between those two – they’re both veteran players. Obviously, Emmanuel a little bit older and that will help Josh and they’ll continue to grow together.”’
Position grades: Ed Oliver’s stout run defense was bright spot in defeat
‘The most encouraging development for the defense was the stoutness against the run. This wasn’t the toughest run-defending challenge the Bills will face, due to the fact the Steelers have two rookie offensive line starters. Still, holding Pittsburgh to 75 yards and 3.6 a carry should have been the prescription for a victory.’
‘We were trying to be aggressive there’: Daboll explains backward fourth-down attempt
‘“I think anytime a play doesn’t work, you always want it back. But we’re trying to call plays that give us a chance here, and maybe spring a big one, and they did a good job,” offensive coordinator Brian Daboll said Monday. “We motioned 19 (Isaiah McKenzie) across, and he stayed, and they got us. We were trying to be aggressive there. And certainly, you’d like to have all those calls back that quite don’t work out the way you hoped, but we’re trying to be aggressive.”’
Jim Kubiak: Josh Allen reverts to old ways, but Steelers’ defense deserves credit
‘The beauty of the Steelers’ concept here was that before the blitz they lined up in a three-man front and rotated all three defensive lineman into different positions, moving Melvin Ingram from a down lineman position to a standup linebacker position. Then Ingram blitzed to the Steelers’ blitz side, overloading the pass protection to Allen’s right. Allen must have felt like they were in an all-out assault with four weak defenders in pursuit. This unique defensive look also made him think the Steelers were playing man-to-man defense behind the blitz. The Steelers did the opposite, dropping seven defenders into zone coverage, including linebacker Alex Highsmith, who subsequently lined up as the middle linebacker, then adjusted to the right defensive end position, and then dropped into coverage.’
Unmasked vendors cited at Bills game; questions about fan enforcement remain
‘However, representatives for both the Bills and the county did not say whether anyone attempted to enforce mask-wearing rules for the roughly 70,000 fans at Sunday’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.’
Bills away game Sunday marks return of “Buffalo Bills Block Parties” on Chippewa
‘”We couldn’t think of a better way to do that than to get 1,000 people down here for the Bills into the streets, plus whatever business spills into the bars and restaurants. It really should be like a fun away-game destination,” Ring said.’
